Hi from California.

I just found this thread and hope that this gathering becomes an annual affair. This is for my personal benefit of course as I am planning a trip to the east in either 2012 or 2013. One of my thrusts for the trip is to go to Quebec as it has always intrigued me. I lived in France for nearly 3 years while in High School years ago.

I'm going to purchase a RosettaStone so I can bone up on my Merci, Oui, Bon Jour and of course putting them in phases would be handy.

I printed this thread and will add it to my collection of Quebec stuff, of course the interest is in the campground especially.

Matante, we have two bolers from Ontario bolerama who will be going through Quebec in September and will try and juggle our dates to stop in for a visit. My french went south with my memory - sorry. Je n'parler pas le francais and that's all I can remember from high school.

You're welcome, at the beginning the organizer was expecting around 20 inscriptions, I looked at the blog site for the event yesterday and since July 23rd up to yesterday there was an additionnal 7 inscriptions, so up to now we are 40 ! The double than what was expected at the beginning.

There will be at least:

1x Scamp 16': 1999
2x Bigfoot 17': 1991 and 1992
2x U-Haul: 1984
2x Trillium Jubilee: 1978 and 1979
6x Trillium 13': 1x1973, 2x1974, 1x1975 and 2x1976
6x Trillium 4500: 2x1977, 1x1978, 2x1979 and ONE 2011 !
21x Boler 1300: 4x1972, 3x1973, 4x1974, 3x1977, 3x1978, 3x1980 and 1x1981

OK We have adjusted our travel dates so will hit St. Aulnaies on Friday or Saturday night so two Ontario bolerama bolers will be there. We have actually camped there in the past. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
We don't need services, so is there group site camping or do we need to make reservations.

Hi, we all have made our reservations, we just mentionned that it was for the Bolerama. Although they do not assign a specific site, we will get the complete section "L" of the camping. and another section for our activities. There is 43 sites in this section and the camping owner told us that if we were to be more than the number of sites that we can be 2 per site and could provide extensions for the electricity.

They have 57 signed up. I think that is great for a first meet.

The Owen's from Ajax ontario have had to cancel their reservation and attendance due to a family emergency. Paul & Vivian Parkin from Bewdley, Ontario will see y'all there and looking forward to it. My Francais is practically non-existant however, we will do our best.

Bonjour from the two Anglo's who attended Quebec bolerama and MERCI BEACOUP for the warm, warm welcome and kindness shown us. With my "cereal box" francais, a lot of hand waving etc. and the fact that most everybody else spoke some English, we made out fine and intend to go back next year. Anybody from Ontario who did not go because they don't speak french missed a fabulous event. Thank you again so very much for your hospitality.

Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality at your event. We loved it and decided to stay in 'Quebec and poke about just because we had been made to feel so welcom.
