Anyone want to start making plans for the fall get together in Brown County ? The middle of the month would be good for me.

The middle of which month?

Sure, Evelia and I are in. Lets just narrow down a date.

Talk about having a brain far* !!!! OCTOBER, of course, when the leaves are supposed to be turning. I say supposed to be because last year it was as green as spring in the middle of October.

Middle of October is fine. I'll have to wait until July to book a campsite though.

Fae, Arnie and I are raring to go. The 13th,14th and 15th is OK.
Do we want the same area as last year {the 300 sites} If so, I might
start thinking about reservations. John and Fae

We really do NEED to think about reservations as there are a lot of sites already gone for that weekend. Especially the ones near the shower houses if that is a priority ( it is for us ). I am looking at sites 373-378 or 324-328 . Any input ??

Evelia and will go but we've got to risk be separated from all of you and wait a few weeks to reserve as spot. If all goes well we'll be closing on a home/property purchase in June and right now we ain't spendin nuthin...

We just got online and booked #325. Making plans for Gnaw Bone tenderloin and Brown Country wine! We'll probably stop off at Chain 'o Lakes on the way and returning.

Maybe my middle aged brain is just not seeing this minor detail, but I've read the entire thread 4 times, and think that something's missing.

Please, could someone tell us at which park the rally will be held?

If it's at Brown County State Park, which campground? It might be easier to hook up with the group if we know where you will be.

Thanks,

Dale

Unhappy

I've just spent the last 20 minutes trying to reserve site 324 on-line, but the website seems to not want to do that right now .......Anyhow, Dale and I hope to be there from Michigan with our new baby, eloquent.

Any special details we should know before I plan what to pack- Pot luck meals, special events, side excursions, etc.?

Can't wait for camping again

This will be a VERY informal get-together. The only sure thing will be the campfire that my husband will have on Saturday evening. That is the usual. He is a firebug when we camp. Everyone usually hangs out around the fire. Hopefully the weather will be sunny and cool. I don't remember ever having snow as early as the middle of the month but I do remember it snowing on Halloween about 10-12 years ago.
