Yes, it was warm and sunny when I left today at 10:30 AM. We had 80°+ F temps every day. It cooled down at night. Had to put on a my hooded sweatshirt to sit around the camp fire. Wes out did himself this time. He had wood to burn (pun intended. )

Check out the Home Page. That was taken this morning about 9 AM.

When we got to Redlands, we hit rain. It rained for quite a while til we got to Monrovia, CA. We took the Foothill Frwy 210 to the 101 Frwy and then north to the Central Coast. I heard they got a dust storm today after I left.

But the whole time we were there, the weather was just perfect.

Neil & I got home today, we had a great time. The potluck was great as was the cinnamom rolls and bread pudding, Thanks again! It was great to see all the different trailers, I think we had 6 brands. The wind storm was different, but fun in its own way..

Ok Donna & others

The Desert Winter Warm-Up held at Lake Cahuilla County Park near Indio, CA was a great success with 28 fiberglass trailers attending. There was a great barbeque on Saturday nite complete with accordian music and a huge campfire that Wes maintained. Lori held a dutch oven "Cinnamon Roll & Bread Pudding" bake on Sunday morning enjoyed by all. There was hiking, biking, gathering, trailer touring and lots of "mod" talk. Ian and Paddy were there with their new Escape fifth wheel so they were very busy showing it off. There were Casita, Scamp, Burro, Fiberstream, Escape and a Hunter 1 represented at the rally and two, yes two forum owners present, myself & my wife and Mike and Lori!
Eat your heart out Gina, you missed a good time, but Lauren took your lake front spot with her little Burro!

Thanks for sharing Gene! Definitely looks like people had a good time. I'm so jealous of those individuals who are retired and just pick up and go or can get time off from jobs...sigh, four years, two months and 15 days...but who's counting

Thank you Maggi & Wes for organizing such an enjoyable rally. The site, weather, activities, schedule, things to do in and around the area, all contributed to a casual, comfortable and overall awesome rally. Thanks , Wes & Maggi, for those great burgers; Lori for those sumptuous cinnamon rolls and bread pudding; Wes for the cozy fires; Marie for the music at campfire; and, of course, Maggi, for being such a warm and gracious hostess to us all. It was great seeing everyone. Safe journey to all you travelers.

Looks like a good time was had by all, even the "Mystery Guest" in my spot.

At least it was an Element and a Burro 13, we kept THAT in order
