Time for the winter warm-up sign-up! When the weather is really cold, rainy, windy, snowy, why not join in the fun for a bit of a warm-up time in the Southern Ca. desert. The dates of Feb. 9 - 11, check out the 12th, (only if you like) or stay a spell and enjoy our generally beautiful winter weather near Palm Springs.

The place............. The Beautiful Riverside County Park , "Lake Cahuilla", at the base of the Santa Rosa Mts. in La Quinta, Ca.

There are many exciting events and sites to visit in the area and just over the hill is the beautiful Joshua Tree National Park. All within just a hop-skip-and-a-jump from Lake Cahuilla!

I can see nowhere in the county parks area to sign up for online reg. I go to the ressie home page, no link, I go to the park, go thru the motions of reserving, no promt for me to sign up. I asks me for my log on info, but gives me no option to set up an account.

Where is it?

A few months ago, they didn't even have this site..

Mine did not have the lower options to click to make the ressie.



All else seemed fine.. flash is OK.

May be time to check for updates, or Verizon hates it.. haven't a clue, but its done now anyway.

Hi there,

Lily and I will be coming. We'll leave around noon on the 8th and probably arrive early on the 9th. We'll camp through Sunday night and head home Monday.

I haven't been able to access the online reservations. I wanted to see a map but couldn't pull it up. I was able to print the screen twice and get the available site numbers, just need to decide on which one I want.

Try clicking on this website - it should take you directly to the map.. I set it for the dates of Feb 9-11... you can see if you can change the dates.. if not, you can at least see the map and go from there.

Hey Gina,

Sorry to tell you, but there is no swimming in the lake.

I'll be right next to you in site #69 as I'd like an unobstructed view of the lake. So don't you obstruct me......

If it turns out hot and I think we need an A/C, Lily and I will just get in the Jeep turn on the A/C and take a ride.

I'm coming in on Feb 8th, after what will end up being, most likely a 10 to 12 hour drive. We're going to leave at, hopefully, 6:00am and will be in at the latest 6:00pm. We'll stay 4 nights and head for home on Monday Feb. 12. Rolling in the driveway on Tuesday.
