Our CasitaFest events are small informal gatherings that are fun.
We usually get together for dinner. This is not a potluck so no pressure there, just bring your food and drink and have fun meeting new and old friends. Days your free to do as you like.

Just got home from 10 days in that area, called "Lakes Basin". It is gorgeous and a haven for kayakers and hikers. Don't forget to go to the bakery in Blairsden, it's the best in the west, we look forward to it every year for the past 10 years! Sorry it's so far or I'd be there!

Lily and I will be there. You got some Blue paint so I can fit into the Casita Fest??

I'll head out on Thursday afternoon and most likely camp in at Martis Creek near the airport in Truckee.

Now that's a good place to have a campout. Truckee is a cute little town and Lake Tahoe is just a few minutes away, not so isolated. I know there is no hook ups but "Hey", we are all self contained, we don't need no stinking hookups. They got water there.
