I will include the screen name, avatar pic, signature line and first name.
Hi My real name is Melanie, Taylor is my internet name I did not read the rules utill after I sgned up
I will be bringing Sam. he does not need a name tag just gets his fur sticky.

I am sure I can come up with something sweet to bring.

Hello all, Looks like we have got a great meet coming. If anyone from out of state needs a stopping place I have a large driveway and electric hookups. Live 150 miles south of Luray VA. and only Three miles from I-81.
Denice If you need help on anything let me know. Tools, chainsaw etc. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Will bring charcoal grill and accessories for cooking.
Sylvia and I plan to arrive around 11 A.M. Friday and will help in any way we can to have a nice FG meet. AM getting the Gypsy ready for the trip. You folks from far away such as FL. and PA. Drive carefully and arrive safely, any help you need just ask. Bill And Sylvia bboone9@comcast.net

Key activities -- Friday night wine tasting (cheese optional) and Saturday pot-luck (we agree with Al that 12 desserts is OK) and let the rest evolve as it surely will into fun and fellowship for all.

(Correction by Diane, who says I'm inadvertantly steering us in the wrong direction ). What I had in mind here was that as we understand it , "Pot Luck" usually means bring one dish, whatever you want, be it salad, main course or dessert. Then everyone shares.

In theory we could end up with all items the same but haven't seen it happen yet, and even if it did (especially dessert) Al and I, and maybe others, would not be too upset.

If grilled weenies, or similar, is your thing, go for it, but as not everyone has a BBQ along and it could take a lot of time cooking for lots of people, we vote for a traditional pot luck meal.

Denise, can I (try to) make a clay model FGRV?

OK, now let's get to the high priority planning here! For the pot luck on Saturday:
How about we each bring a side dish or dessert (have you got a special recipe you want to try out on...I mean have us enjoy? )
Along with that, bring your own steak/burger/chicken/fish/etc to grill.
What do you all think?
I'll start this off by volunteering to bring my old fashioned potato salad.
Hey to all, Pat said she would bring a big crock pot of travelers stew & garlic bread for sat night pot luck, and some thing for fri nite what ever and CHEESE....I`ll bring wine& what ever Don& Pat,, oh and we will bring the MUTT ,Wiggles.she doesn`t need a name tag either, see all soon Don&Pat...

Would sure be at this one, but have a conflicting schedule. Will be camping at Red Top Mountain State Park in GA., and riding with a recumbent bicycle group on the Silver Comet Rails to Trails.

I'm in east Tennessee and have a 1982 Scamp and a 1985 Casita. I'll watch for other meets here in the south east.

Getting caught up on my reading here...
Yes! That sounds like a fun project in clay, our little FGRVs! They can be a bank or a mug, I'll bring samples to show you how!

I think I'm ready, but Bill Boone, you just scared me....'chainsaw'? Hmmmm, why would we need a chainsaw? I hope you are just kidding this newbie!

OK, the wine tasting and potluck plans are as Des Nolan just described.

I promise, no name tags for our furry companions, mine feels the same way about sticky fur

I'm really looking forward to this! It is even possible my husband Alek will be able to come and he really needs a break from work!

Our little egg scramble:

Bill Boone - '79 Gypsy (Bill)
Al V - '05 casita (Al)
Taylor - '72 burro (Melanie)
Denise K. - '72 mkp (Denise and Alek)
Des Nolan - '77 boler (Des and Diane)
Dorothy Reihart - '00 casita FD (Dorothy and Bill)
kerberdp - '96 casita SD (Don and Pat)
Al & Donna - '84 U-Haul (Al and Donna)

Lloyd Bishop, we'll miss ya, but I'm sure you're going to have fun in Georgia!

Great! I can hardly wait.

Ooh -- that's scary! We will bring a Canadian wine for Friday and, Diane says a crock-pot chicken dish for Saturday.

Just one week to go.

I know, it's amazing what you can do "under pressure"
It's a shame that Humpty Dumpty didn't have a rally to go to!!
Maybe all the Kings Horses and all the Kings men couldn't put him back together again, but these "eggs" are gonna be in "show room condition"!!
We've been busting our butts too !!
