We are home again.

Good thing it's a big desert. I read that there were 60 rigs there, more or less.

It was 43 degrees in the Homelet when we awoke this am. but had a great time schmoozing with all the egg owners. I didn't take a count, but some did and they were saying about 60 rigs.

Thanks to the hosts for providing the cinnamon rolls and making the Hobo Soup.

Thanks to Pat for taking me up the mountain in his ATV to take pictures.

Thanks to Fred for weighing my trailer.

Thanks to Tom for bringing out a new Trillium 1500 to look at. What is Two-Footitis? LOL

Just after we left, we saw two Scamps in a rest stop just west of the gathering, a '76 16', and a brand new 13'. Neither knew of the gathering nor of the website. I informed them about this great place and as a thank you, Smoking Moses gave me a jar of his BBQ Sauce!

The strange things that happen to egg owners.

Hi Roger,
I was trying to put forum Names with trailers and then with faces. But I'm not great with names. Anyway, I didn't realize until just now reading your post that you parked right next to me. Don't think I "officially" met you. You have a nice looking Trillium!

We also had a great time meeting people and seeing lots of trailers. Just to many to look at! Thanks to Doug & George and all those who did so much work to put this together. It was fun

Dale & Jodi.

Hi to all

Sorry we couldn't make it until Sunday. Had a few unexpected events that delayed our departure from Golden until Friday afternoon.

Had a good time talking to everyone and showing off the EggCamper with an almost continuous stream of folks looking inside. Sorry we missed the folks that left on Sunday morning.

We'll be back next year and, circumstances permitting, will arrive by Wednesday or Thursday, not Sunday.

Hey Alf S. !

Yep, our 1st FG meet and only our 2nd time out in the trailer. Had a good time, lots of trailers to see and people to meet. The Quartzsite area is just "ok" for me, but it is a good meeting place for a lot of people. Here are a couple pictures I took, I'm sure there will be more pictures showing up.

We camped in the "Dome Rock" area. You can see "Dome Rock" in the 3rd picture.

Paula & I Thank You for great hospitality and new friendships.

Paula and I want to thank everyone for their hospitality and new friendships. We hope to see everyone again next year, and perhaps along the trails.

Where: Dome Rock area, Quartzsite, Arizona.
Located aprox 5 miles west of Quartzsite on I-10. We will be
on the south side next to the frontage road. You can see us
from I-10.

Camping: Dry camping (No Facilities)

Surface: Hard pack dirt

Markets, water, dump station: All located in Quartzsite, 5 Miles to the east.

Campfires: Campfires are allowed. Please bring some firewood if you can.
As usual, we will have a large central fire.

Soup Thing: If everyone would bring a can of soup (Not cream style),
they are poured into a couple of large soup pots and shared on Saturday afternoon.

Last year, we had a count of 56 fiberglass trailers. Hope we can set a new record this year.

See you all there

George and Betty deserve a big round of applause for hosting this years gathering. It was my first and it won't be the last. All the people I met were fun, interesting and very helpful. The weekend was relaxing, the weather beautiful and the surrounding FGRV's amazing. For any lurkers, take note, the people at this gathering were top notch. George and Betty went above and beyond with the Pecan Cinnamon rolls and Hobo soup.

48 eggs that I could count, might be a few hidden ones plus the non eggs.

Nice picture Roger!

I think it was Saturday morning when Lily and I walked from one end to the other and I counted 56 trailers. Then Paul and I realized I forgot to count Gary who left early, the Boler who left early and the View (which longs to be a fiberglass trailer). The Mothership (humongous RV) and Bigfoot capover are included. So my count was 59 then in came the Egg Camper Sunday morning. Bingo 60!!!

Tom Young in his Trillium 1500 came in Saturday night. That would be 60. The EggCamper would then be 61! What time did the EG come in? We left about 8am.

Just want to thank everyone that came to the Gathering this year. You guys are what makes it fun. BTW - Official count 62, we had a number of 61, then on Monday as we were getting ready to leave, Bruce from Missouri showed up with His Big Foot. He has to count because he fought snow almost all the way here to join us.
