This is an open invitation for anyone to join Nolan, Brenda (Canada) and Chuck, Debbie (USA) for an informal September long weekend at Beaver Glen Campground in beautiful P.A. National Park. Just look for the Bigfoot trailers (5th wheel and 17 ft). We will be there on Friday, September 4, 2009. We'd love to see you and your eggs!

This should be a fun trip and we hope to see some Eggers from the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada in attendance.

For the geographically challenged (like me) P.A. is not Pennsylvania it is the Prince Albert National Park in the middle of Saskatchewan. Link to basic map with driving distances.

Glad you didn't make the assumption and head south... the locals would have looked at you funny when asking "Where's Waskesiu Lake"?

"Wask-a-what"????

Oh dear...yes, Prince Albert National Park - Northern Saskatchewan. Brenda not thinking to explain herself clearly. Anyone in the area - come and join us for a weekend - or longer!

Saskatchewan must be to far for most Eggers to travel. I would have thought more would have signed up from the North West and Western Canada. I understand the stores will have great sales since they will be closing for the winter.

I am sorry you egg people missed the camping in the Glen. Prince Albert National Park is a very beautiful place. After Labor Day Weekend all the campers left and we were the only two Fiberglass Bigfoot Trailers in the whole campground. A Elk family moved into the circle center with three white tail deer. Walking to the shower house each evening the wildlife were very close. The forest and lakes are just beautiful. It was so quiet at night you could here a pin drop on the forest floor. The town of Waskasiu was colorful with many shops having end of the year sales. The days were warm and the nights were cool.
A one day outing to the portage train was fun. People put boats on the train which you pushed up a incline to the next lake. We all rode down the hill on the train with two dogs. It went really fast we used the brakes to stop. The girls and the girl dogs waded into the lake.
