Is there any interest in a 'bama gathering?
I am just posting this to see if any other egg camper folks would want to consider something easy and informal in Alabama. Maybe Oak Mountain? DeSoto? Cheaha? All great spots with good hiking.

So far it's a "maybe" as I haven't heard from anyone officially interested.

There may not be many eggs in Alabama! That kind of sounds like it should be a country song.

I'm looking into the various rallies and we could be a maybe. It takes just as long to get out of Florida as it does to get across Texas. The littles can get restless, so it may depend how far off from i-10 in Alabama.

We winter in Gulf Shores, AL so we would be interested in something if it was between Thanksgiving and May 1. Green Eggs & Ham Rally is in AL in March I believe.
