I scooped the campground map, so if folks are making reservations they can see where everyone's site.. it may help make a decision in advance ...

The current (updated) list of attendees for the WA State Get-Together at Taidnapum Park, June 8-10, 2012 can always be found in POST #10 in this thread.

POST #10 will be the "Master List" for the remainder of this thread.

Please continue to post your reservations/site selections here just as you have been. I will regularly update the information to the Master List as new attendees sign up.

Hopefully, this will reduce the volume of the many unnecessary repetitive posts of the list as it grows. Thank you.

Also, thank you Mary F, Admin guru, for opening this feature.

WHIDBEY's Sharen & Simon snagged site 287, beginning Wed, June 6th, departing Sunday, June 10th. Hoping for good Spring weather. We love Taidnapum. Thanks for organizing this, and thanks Kim for the heads up. Bring on the raccoon peckers!

We just purchased a 2006 17-ft Casita and thought it would be fun to meet others. This is our first foray into fiberglass. If anyone knows anyone interested in buying our sweet 1957 "canned ham", please let us know. We're looking for a good home for it since we can only accommodate one trailer at a time in our yard. We have signed up for Friday and Saturday nights in site 223. Looking forward to meeting you. Tom and Dena Pitts, Gig Harbor

I live nearby. I may come down and wander. I do not have a fiberglass trailer, but have been looking for one. I'm interested in seeing ground clearances.

The hard to spell park is a short drive, over the back roads. Which explains why I'm interested in ground clearance.

Hi Pat. Sure you'd be welcome to come look Unless you're buying new and aren't interested in immediately making modifications, you can always replace an axle to add lift. My Scamp has 15" tires because thats what I did. Casita and Escape also sells the "high lift" option. I don't know if anyone at the gathering has a trailer with that option though. You'll have to come and find out.

Safe travels

That's what I need, I think. We have a good RV guy in our area, and some really good machinists and mechanics.

Hi Pat,
Although the event is posted here on a "fiberglass" forum, our Washington get-together isn't, (nor has it ever been,) a "glass-exclusive" gathering. It is also not a "Washington resident" only event either. Anyone, with anything they camp in, even a tent, is welcome. We are not snobbish or elitist about our gathering. We just like to camp, mingle, socialize, pot-luck, and generally have a good time. You'll find a whole lot of friendly folks who are always willing to show off their trailers and other rv's to interested persons at our gatherings. It is a get-together which anyone who wishes to attend can participate in. You are certainly welcome to join us if you like. It will give you a great opportunity to check out many styles and makes of trailers and rv's and let you see if something in particular catches your fancy. Incidentally, there are several of us, myself included, who have the "high-lift" axle on our trailers. You'll also enjoy seeing all the "mods" many of us have made to our "travelling taj mahals" (lol) and come away with some neat ideas that you will probably want to do yourself down the road. Hope you can make it, even if just for a "day trip".

Sal,
SO GLAD to see your post...my "newest BEST friend" is coming over to play!!! It will be 'Amityville vs. the Bronx'!

See you soon. AND can't wait to meet and talk to Theresa...while I didn't get a chance this past weekend at the beach, I fleetingly saw her at the pot-luck, from a distance, and she looks LOVERLY!
