A couple of weeks ago, we were up at Lake Ray Roberts State Park (Johnson Branch), and we noticed a late model Casita
parked in one of the Campground Host sites. Another (not quite as recently minted) Casita
was parked across the street. Alas, I didn't get a chance to meet either of the owners.
But it jogs at my memory, every time I notice somebody new registering from the Dallas/Ft. Worth (Texas) area. Do any of you ever get over to Lake Ray Roberts?
For what it's worth, we really liked the campground we were in. (Wish the signs on the highway were a little more informative, since the State Park consists of 2 units, one on each side of the lake!) We had never been there before, but were impressed with the facilities and the lake itself.
I understand it stays pretty crowded, year 'round...
Any thoughts? Anybody reading this working as a Campground Host? :cblob
