This time of year on the Texas Gulf Coast is a roll of the dice as far as weather goes. It was in the high 30's upon arrival but it easily could have been in the 70's. Upon arriving on Matagorda Island Friday 12/08/06 we were greeted by
sleet which is very rare on the coastline. Never the less we had 10 units show up and we were pleasently surprised by having a
Bigfoot there from Washington State that was just pasing through and read about our gathering. Friday evening we all got together for dinner and fellowship. Hopefully next year there will be a shelter and meeting place that we all can congregate in. The LCRA Matagorda Bay RV Park is a real nice and very clean.
