I am bringing a small dolly that can carry a water tote if needed.

Steve
Is it warm at night?
My AC is not acting as I had hoped?

Last night I slept with the overhead fan on all night and it was a bit muggy. But as the wall street guys say, "Past performance is no guarantee of future success". The first night I ran the heater all night. It wasn't all that cool but I like a warm trailer.

4 participants here so far. 2 Scamp, 2 Casitas.

Thanks Steve.
Hot is bad.
The forecast does call for cooler temps though after Thursday so who knows?
I will say the Google Earth pic is pretty amazing, shows the sites in detail.
See you tomorrow!

Since we don't have inboard water tanks in our VT (removed by a previous owner) and the sites don't have individual water access, we're going to be trying a new method for our VT. I have a water tank (20 gallon?) from another trailer that sits on a small push dolly. I've attached this to a 110v ShurFlo pump that is mounted on a small block of wood. This will all connect to our external city water connector on the VT. I tested it at home and it brings the system up to pressure, fills the hot water tank, and shuts off automatically until a faucet is opened. This is pretty much how it would have worked if it was installed internally, but we didn't want to lose the storage space to which we've become accustomed. I think this will be so much more convenient than using a water bottle sitting on the counter! Also, we won't have to heat water for dishwashing in the 30-cup coffee maker.

The first field test begins tomorrow!

Thanks Steve for the heads up on the water. Peggy's cake is ready and I can't sample it. Be there sometime tomorrow.

Great Fish Fry, Roy & Marilyn. We had fish left over and everyone had 2nd and 3rd's. Steve's french frieds were all gone. The pot luck was a hugh success and you could have had 3rd and 4th's on those. So much good food and campers. The ice cream was appreciated. 19 eggs and one A frame with 38 campers and 2 guests. A great time and Roy said next year will be better at Spring Hill. Yes, Roy will be fishing the rest of the year. Again, A big thank you from Peggy and I to all of "eggers".

Thanks! Alf. The trip was good for me. Mostly good weather let me soak in the warmth and all the walking was good for working the stiffness out of my legs which are still rehabilitating from being on my back go long. Getting a little bit better every day. Not mention I really missed camping and good friends.

Rich..........I'm not sure what it means to be bunched with the dogs but I personally would be flattered. What a BEAUTIFUL picture of Bella (JRT). Thanks Ed.
