I just noticed the camp was almost full and quickly got off the POT and chose site 24. It will be so good to have the April NOG, then Maryhill and on to Taidnapam. Keep our weekends full of Fun and lots of action!

Sharen & Simon would like to join this gig (Did you know that Simon is an avid windsurfer?!), but the campgrounds seem to be full for those dates. Any suggestions?

Happened to us last year, so we found that booking for 1 night, then moving to another space for another night got us the ability to go...wasn't that much hassle to move really...something to try anyway...Hope you can make it...Dave

You might want to look at Maryhill State Park weather - it's warmer than it is up at Goldendale. I agree - no rain and daytime in the 70's!

Don't know if I believe the 3 mph wind forecast Saturday (I'll bring the tarps for a wind break if we need it again)
Norma and I will be rolling in around noon on Friday.
I figure we will have a fire going Friday evening for a meet & greet. We can talk about a Saturday potluck then.

On our way over today. Agree with Paul - no wind at Maryhill??? Hard to believe! Also, for anyone interested, the Goldendale Observatory is going to broadcast the annular solar eclispe in their theater on Sunday afternoon. Only problem is it's supposed to be clouding up (of course!). I believe you need a Discover Pass to get in.

Another great trip to Maryhill!
The weather has gotten better each of the three years we've been gathering there - the wind died down Friday and stayed calm and dry until we left Sunday (for those not familiar with Maryhill, its on at the east end of the Columbia River Gorge - a destination area for wind surfers).
We had 29 folks & 7 doggies in 17 sites and a lot of fun. The park staff is starting to call us "The Fiberglass Event"
