Finally!! There is a Fiberglass rx at the northernmost county park on South Padre Island. No one home. It had the trolley top, dual axle, maybe 19ft, slightly more squarish than Casita. Shall look for a picture of an Oliver.

I too am ready to start the "Big Dig" starting at the plowed road and shoveling the 250 feet down to where I park the Casita for the winter. It will take about week to do this but on nice sunny days it's good to get outside if the temps get up in the 20's.
I am starting to take stock of all the items I have for the Spring Fling Rally in New England rally, in May, and doing that, I'm sure, got my camping heart pumping.
But remember how my dear old mom use to tell us kids little white lies, like "there is no more ice cream" I am sure this little thaw we just had with temps in the upper 30's is just a little white lie Mother Nature is telling us and there will be another 5 weeks more of Winter before I can get to the campground and start to get the water turned on and other jobs the owner has in store for me.

Woke up to 3” of fresh snow and it’s still snowing rather heavily
Supposed to snow until about noon , looks like about 6” total
I spent last week shoveling out my pole barn / trailer and now I can start over
Life is good

Started at 8:00 AM and found that the layer of 4 inch crusty snow on top of snow didn't allow the snow blower to move forward so I had to use the trusty grain scoop I use as a snow shovel and dig a 3 foot wide path, the 250 feet down back yard access road to the trailer. Then taking the snow blower I could skim about 6 inches off the side of this trench with each pass and it would handle it.
With a lot of tugging and pulling, with the machine clanking and banging with ice chunks being thrown out the chute, by 1:00 PM was down to front of trailer.
Got the shovel out again and dug around front and sides to the wheels so I could take off the wheel covers and by 3:00 was ready to move.
now just going to wait until the cold morning so any snow/slush will be frozen, so the Toyota will drive over it and then haul the Casita to the front driveway.
Getting to Old for this kind of work and I slept like a baby last night.

I spent over 6 hour yesterday clearing snow off my decks, driveways and the roof .Our snowblower is in for repairs so I shoveled
I am a little sore today but when I look ahead to the hot , humid weather that is fast approaching suddenly snow looks pretty good
Getting out and going camping and fishing are about the only things that make Summer worthwhile for me .
