New Year's Eve Campout
What happens when you take 15 people from all walks of life, some with whom you only chatted, others whom you do not know or only met a few times and then bring them all together on New Year's Eve?????
The outcome is INSTANT FAMILY!!!
Thank you Marion & Ken Brown - Marion for your beautiful voice and
Hula dancing. Mike & Lori Sanders - Lori for getting up early and feeding us those fabulous dutch oven cinnamon rolls. Carol & Jim Upton - Photographing all the time to preserve the memories. Heide & Charlie Collado - A pleasure to meet you for the first time and your beautifully decorated Casita. Maggi & Wes Rudy - Continually making us laugh!! Ron Bowling - Complete stranger with his fifth wheel Scamp who after 1 minute we instantly bonded. Last but not least, Leslie and Donna Loftin who travelled 1800 miles to share a little bit of Mesquite, Texas with Mesquite, Nevada!
We would like to thank everyone for coming to our town, Mesquite, Nevada and sharing New Year's Eve with us. This definitely will be a New Years to remember.

Barbara & Charlie,
You two out did your selves. We had a wonderful time. we laughed so hard and had so much fun, it was great.
Your planning was also very much appreciated. I'm sitting here wearing my Zion T-Shirt as I write this. What a beautiful place.
Thanks for doing all the work. Hope to see you at the next one.

Title: New Years In Mesquite 2002!
Date: 01/02/03
By: Maggi Rudy
Just arrived home and previewed the wonderful pictures of the unforgetable New Years in Mesquite, NV, sponsored by BARBARA AND CHARLIE HARNED! You other guys (NON ATTENDIES) cannot begin to comprehend what a wonderful time you missed! No words can describe what great hosts we encountered, the great camp ground and comrodery of other Casitans and fiberglass RV owners (RON BOWLING), and especially tne New Years Eve Party! BUT............I have to send this picture because I think we should be a bit more selective on whom we let attend our gatherings!
If for some reason you are not able to see this picture, send me a message at snoewht@aol.com and I will personally see that you get a copy of the picture of this attendee so that perhaps your group can kind of be a bit selective of whom attends your next whatever!
Happy New Years to ALL!

New Year's Eve Campout
Maggi and Rudy The only thing I can not figure out is how that guy got here with his Fiberglass boat/trailer. We haven't seen water here in years!!!! Thank you for coming and we can not wait till we see you at your Palm Springs winter warmup in February.
All kidding aside even that boat/trailer would instantly be part of the family.
If you have never attended a rally mini or great, be sure to give it a try. We are definitey all unique.

New Year's Eve 2002
Barbara & Charlie
I just wanted to thank you again for the great time. You and the other Casitans made me feel right at home. I hope to see all my new friends in April and again here in June.

Sorry to miss!
Barbara (& Charlie)! So glad to hear the New Year's campout and party went well! Thanks for posting your report.
One of these days we're going to pull our Casita west of the Continental Divide... (or to be accurate, more than 30 miles west of the Continental Divide).
Happy New Year! :wave

Thanks, Leslie!
Yes, I needed names. I (for one) appreciate you putting the names with the faces! (I could pick out a couple of the most notorious, but the rest were, well, a mystery!)
Sure looks like a bunch of happy people! :wave
:hap2 (I rang in the new year watching The Muppet Movie with a three year old and her grandparents! Sorry, no photos available...)

Me?!
Okay, Mary!
Did you know which one I was? Am I notorious?
I don't think I have ever seen a picture of you (other than that small one next to your post). If you came (and assuming I will go) to Lost Maples I could put a face with your posts.

Yes, Leslie-
You're among the notorious!
There's a pic of me somewhere on this board (besides the teeny version by my name). Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find it... :laugh [hint: Use the SEARCH function. It's easy!]
I'm hoping to attend the Bluebonnet Festival at Lost Maples, but it's not a very big campground (only 29 spaces) and, it's my understanding that there's been a huge response. I don't know if there'll be room for me... the Primitive sites (at least some of them) seem to be ''hike in.'' I don't think that'll work!
Anyway, thanks again for the pic of Barbara's New Year's party! :party :party
