Minden in June
Hi Ron
Just a quick thank you for the update and for setting this fun rally up. Jim and I are looking forward to it. We will stay at Browns Town Campground in Bishop on the 18th and should be in Minden on the 19th between 2:00 and 3:00.......
We plan on staying at Carson Valley Inn RV Resort for 4 nights ... checking out on June 23rd.. If our reservations are different than this, please let us know.
Can you tell us what time check in and check out is?
We will bring our kites... (Maggie and Wes - bring your kites too)

Ron,
Can't wait to see everyone. It has been a while!!! We will be staying all four nights.
We are constantly busy and have just been taking little overnighters with the Casita, this will be great.

Northern Nevada Rally
We just returned from Minden. We have been looking at the Scamp and Casita brochures and wanted to see the real thing so we traveled to Minden, NV. We were not sure how we would be accepted but were delighted to find so many kind and helpful folks. We have fallen in love with the Casita and are anxious to place our order. Hopefully, we will be able to join you all next time as legitimate eggers. Thanks to you all. You were most helpful.

Thanks for a great trip. I told Mary about George in the back of your jag. It looked so funny to me.
Lori and I sure did appreciate your loaning us a place to sleep in your tent trailer. Our new Casita will be delivered next weekend. Yea!

Looks like you guys had a ball...........
We recognized lots of familiar faces (from RMNP 2002 Rally) in Doug's photos. (Especially the guy immediately behind the big wine bottle!) What a great group and a nice area to rally in. One of these days we hope to join you on a western trip. :thumb

Lake casitas has one space open
Hi George
How about gathering with the group at Lake Casitas October 17 to 19... Lake Casitas is near Ventura, CA. We have 28 trailers reserved so far and there is still one space open #24 in the BASS campground.
Sure would love to have you join us. :ola

Minden & Menagerie
Thanks to Ron for planning the Minden Rally and the fish hatchery tour. We had a great time and Ron planned it just right for the weather; the rally ended on Sunday and it rained on Monday with light snow in the mountains. :umb :winter
Just thought I'd report on the menagerie that joined us at the rally. Lucy, the baby bird is fat & sassy, and is flying now. She will be released just as soon as she learns how to feed herself. Rover & Clover, the baby cottontails are eating alfalfa, grass, etc and will probably be released in my yard in a few days. I'm just waiting for Clover's hurt foot to totally heal. Just as soon as my mothering chores are over, we will head to Oregon and Washington for some R&R, camping in some of those beautiful state parks. :steer

Fun time in Minden
Thank you Ron for the wonderful weekend you planned for all of us in Minden. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful area, the fish hatchery tour, Genoa, and Virginia City.
Getting together at the Basque restaurant Saturday night was Carol Christensen's idea and it was a wonderful way to end the great weekend. 20 of us enjoyed the evening.. The food was delicious. Thanks Carol.
On Sunday, after everyone else had left for home, Jim and I went to Reno with Lois and Jim - walked around the Silver Legacy Hotel, had a great lunch, put a few nickels in the slots and drove back to the camp. That evening Jim and I went to the show to see "Alex and Emma" ...... It was a perfect weekend and we really appreciate your preparation and time, for us to enjoy your beautiful area.

Navada Rally
Lois and I had a great time and were shocked to come back to the heat that has not let up.
