I'm getting ready to make reservations for a Northern Nevada mini rally.


DATES: June 19,20,21,22

Location: Carson Valley Inn RV resort Minden Nevada
Minded is approximately 15 min. from Carson City,
45 min. from Virginia City and Reno and 30 min. from
Lake Tahoe.

Cost: $20.00-$25.00 per night full hookup.

Please let me know if you are interested so I can try for a group
rate.

Carson Valley Inn RV sounds great... We will for sure be there. You might not want to post your address here but email everyone where to send the check. We're ready to mail our deposit whenever you want it. What is the difference between $20 and $25 a night? Group rate would be great.

I have reserved 10 full hookup spaces. All I need is a check-in list with each person and an overall rig length. Each person can pay on check-in. I need a final count no later than April 29. This is a small rv park and fills up fast in the summer.

The event sounds nice and the park looks good, but....
We are still trying to recuperate from the trip to Mesquite. You West Coast folks just need to move closer to Texas.

I still have the hot tub pictures from Mesquite. I might could use them as blackmail pictures and raise money for air fare to northern Nevada!!

Jack and I will be there. We live in Washoe Valley, so will probably leave the dogs home this time.

Minden is also about 30 min from Grover's Hot Springs.

Just wondering what the count is now for your mini-rally in June. Looks like you will have a great turnout and probably more than the 10 sites you have reserved so far.

It does look like this is going to need more than 10 sites.

Ron, is there another RV Park close by for overflow? The closest dry camping I know of is Grover Hot Springs St Park about 30 miles south/west of Minden. It's a Calif. SP near Markleeville. No hookups, but it has water, flush toilets, showers and the hot springs. And is not to far away.

Hi Ron,

Jack and I will be at Carson Valley Inn RV Park for the entire mini rally, June 19 - 22. We took a look at the RV park a couple of weeks ago. I think it would be nice to reserve the spaces with grass if possible, instead of the pull-throughs (unless someone needs a pull-through).

How many have signed up so far?

Are you going to make the reservations for the group, and we just pick a spot when we arrive and pay then? Or are you having the Carson Valley Inn hold a number of sites for the group and we all make our own reservations? Will there be a discount?

If you have not sent me your address and total vehicle length please do so soon. All 10 of the spaces that I reserved are taken, but if you would like to attend please try calling the Carson Valley Inn and RV park.

Just wanted to let everyone know that summer has finally arrived in Gardnerville. Temperatures should be in the 80-90s for our rally. I hope that everyone who has contacted me will come. Please let me know if you can't make it.

ACTIVITIES

THURSDAY: Welcome social at my space.

FRIDAY: Tour of the Lahontan National Fish Hatchery (10:00am).
Lunch at Wally's Hot Springs and Resort then on to Genoa Nevada. Lots of history and great picture taking.

SATURDAY: Trip to Virginia City. Lots of fun. Possible potluck but I will let you decide.

SUNDAY: Free day, lots to do. Carson City is 20 miles North. Reno is 50 miles North and Lake Tahoe is 27 miles East. I will have brochures of other activities in the area.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. This is a great area for kite flying. Lots of fishing and golf. See you soon.
