Just wanted to post and tell everyone that we had good time meeting y'all. We wish we could have stayed longer and met more of you than we did. We wanted to give a special thanks to Sharon, Bill, Nancy and Byron for the tours of their trailers.
If any of our fellow members are on the fence about whether or not to go to one of these gatherings, GO! We met some really great people and are looking forward to the next nothern Oregon meet (maybe we could make it a southwest Washington meet and camp at Vista Park in Skamakowa).
(BTW - I haven't had my braces off for very long; thus, the big cheesy grin in the above photo.)

Per,
After we left, we were kicking ourselves that we didn't get to see the interior of your Burro. Next time...

We, too, enjoyed (as much as possible considering one of us was and is a sickie) meeting everyone and are looking forward to Bandon. Thanks Donna for all your organization. Jim indicated you're seeking a campground in the Eugene/Salem area for next year's event or maybe even a Fall Gathering 06... so we'll start sleuthing! Happy trails, Linda, Jim, Tenaya, and Tioga.

Wow! What a grand time. I forgot to take some pictures Anne, Jackie, and myself doing a little geocaching Saturday morning. That was quite an adventure itself, but that's another story.
We made some "small world" discoveries and enjoyed a lot of good conversation.
I did take a couple pictures.

A few more pictures.
As you can see from the next two pictures there was lots of good stuff to eat and lots of good conversation along with some fine beverages.

Not all attendees were of the two legged varity. These friendly folks get around on all fours.

One never knows. Oregonians walk on water 365 days a year.
The difference between winter and summer is the rain is warmer in the summer.
OK! Odds... No rain, warm and sunny. However cool and rainy are always a possibility

I'm finally "on" for a few minutes and want to THANK everyone for helping me have such a GREAT TIME. Each and every one of you! And thanks too for posting some pictures. Somehow my camera never makes it out of the trailer We're a fun looking group
Byron has already sent me a link to a possible gathering spot in the fall....if we decide to make a change. I'll check it out tomorrow when I'm on a highspeed connection

Nah, in July it is (usually) warm during the day - high 70s and sometimes 80s - and jacket weather in the evenings which is great for campfires and sleeping.
It has rained every time I've been in or near Astoria (or the northwestern tip of Oregon). Central and southern Oregon get a lot less rain.
