Can't wait for our first gathering of the year to show off our new eye. We stopped at Lou and Lora's for several days and thanks to them, we now have a one eyed Casita. All this time it has driven me crazy to not be able to see our TV while hooked up like at a rest area or some other place. Now we can. Thanks Lou and Lora. Glad we will get to see you guys again at the NOG.

We also are getting antsy waiting for the egg nog in April. We will try to get out with our new Trill before then. At least have to sleep in the driveway to make sure we have everything! I see other TTs in the snow and under the trees. Our cars have all kinds of interesting things growing on them because of sitting out under the Douglas Fir.
Our little Trill is sleeping snugly in the garage.

Does this mean that you now have a small satellite dish, Linda?

I bet it's a camera/monitor setup so they can see the Casita while riding/sitting in the tug. Is this a contest? What do I win???

Come on Spring!!!!!

Since we have our show inventory in the tv we have felt a need to be able to see the tv late at night when we hear a noise. We now have a small portal above the Casita in the very front of the Casita so that if you look out the bathroom you can see what is happening out front. Don't have a picture yet.

I also put a forward-looking "eyeball" in my Casita. This was one of the first mods I did when I brought it home. I too, didn't like not being able to see anything up forward from inside the trailer. It offers me good visibility of my tow vehicle and all things up front which used to be a big blind spot, all without having to go outside to see whats going on. One of my favorite mods.

I guess the site had been down for getting reservations for this campout for a day or two. They hope to have it up and running soon. As of now sites with electric and water that are still available are:
1, 2, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25 and handicap site 12. There are a few that don't have electric that are still available. They said to call if someone wants to find a spot, or the site should be up for on line reservations soon. Hopefully someone from our group got site 53 or they will find themselves in the middle of the egg pot luck. Does that make them a yoke?

The darker the weather gets, the more ready I am for this camp out to get here. Hurry up spring.

OK, finally worked out my schedule. I'll be in Site #21A, arriving 4/27, leaving 4/27. Brenda has to work, so I'll be flying solo again this trip.

Greg: That is an awfully short stay, if the arrival date and the departure date are both the same ;-)

You might want to update your last post.

Oops, good catch! Should read arriving on the 24th, not the 27th.

Yea Chari, you go girl! So glad to hear you are better and well enough to go camping!! We'd be happy to help you hook up and drive over to Waterloo (and back) if you need a 'little extra energy' for the weekend (sent you a PM with our phone #).

Suzanne and Kent Israel from the Okanagan valley in British Columbia have reserved site 27A, arriving Apr. 24- Apr. 27, at the start of a couple of weeks vacation. We are open to suggestions and ideas of places to visit in Oregon, Northern California. Last year we spent a week on the Oregon coast.

Hallelujah,
Just reserved 16A and will be back for second time (2007 spring event was last), this time with my wife in tow, along with our 1998 Casita "Hopalong Casita, Suite 17" and maybe even our mini-schnauzers, Pepper and Tuffy. It'll be nice to see you all again and introduce my wife Denise — she a retired teacher and me a newspaper guy.
See you all in a couple of months.

Jacquie, we will bring a picture of our new grandbaby with your cap on. He-or she should be born a few weeks before the NOG. That was so sweet of you to make the cap when you heard we were getting a new grandbaby. Today we are babysitting for four days the two year old that made the annoucement of his new siblings arrival, at the last NOG .

Hi Folks,

Lily and I had to cancel the Fall NOG but will be at the Spring. I love Waterloo SP.

I just reserved 20A and we'll be in on 4-23 and out on 4-27.

Look forward to seeing and meeting any and all that are not going to be attending the Oregon Gathering in July.
