Sharen will set up a BOOK EXCHANGE table at their site - B9 - and bring a bag of books to get us started. Bring up to but not more than 3 books to drop off... current, good condition, fiction or non-fiction... you can take as many as you wish. FREE! This has always been fun.

*** OH, one other thing... SPRING CLEANING? I have "a hobby" and I need to feed it woolies! I make woolie scarves and hats of old wool and cashmere sweaters. If you've got any old wool and cashmere sweaters - moth-eaten are fine - that you're about to toss, stuff 'em in a bag for me. MANY THANKS! (MUST be 80% or higher wool or cashmere content... no cotton or synthetics, sorry.) ***

I am trying to place you and Simon....did you attend the first WA Gathering at Grayland Beach SP? If so, were you at the final bonfire the last night? If so, we talked quite a bit about wood turning.

Just a piece of information that I just learned, Reserve America is not reserving spaces before May first so if you look at the website for spaces open this weekend it looks like there is nothing available. We know of at least two cancels, B6 and B30 in the B loop so they should be available on a first come first served bases.

I will most likely not be attending due to mechanic issues with the motorhome. I am still in Lodi without a clue as to what is wrong or when it will be fixed. I have not canceled my ressies, if I can get out of here today I might be able to make the weekend.

Sorry about the cold Sharen! Had another couple from your neck of the wood cancel due to both having colds. Well, it's supposed to be sunny and warm in SFSP... so maybe you can bake the cold out.

Slight downturn in the weather. Maybe if you sleep in you'll miss the AM showers on Saturday... I should be in the park about 2pm today. Everybody drive safe!!

The problem was not so simple, but I am back on the road again. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to attend. With this big thing, I am still 3 days away and 100 bucks or more in extra gas to get there for just one nite.

I am bummed I am missing the fun. There may still be a tent involved if the weather gets better, can't say for sure right now tho.

We are going to miss you! We are in Silverton for a few hours. Donna told me she was going to try to contact you -- one of those attending the gathering has wireless internet.

It was cool last night, but quite sunny today, pretty much following the weather forecast.
