Welcome home Taylor! Get your land legs back and of course have Linda come down for the day (or whatever!).

Your suggestion for canopies for the picnic tables is good, and I agree that no one wants to put up money for something we might not need. The shelters are close enough for the ambitious with cold food to walk, but old people like me with hot food might prefer to drive. Distances are deceiving...

Hello All-

I finally got off but lazy behind and reserved 2 sites for us and Bob and Judy Webb. We are in A15 and A17. We will be in some time Thursday the 26th and leaving either the 29th or 30th. We think we might be in the Eugene area as early as April 21st and will hang out with friends until the 26th but plans could change between now and then. Berry has been working hard on the floor of our trailer so it will be ready to roll by April. Seems like every time he goes to fix something he finds another problem. I am sure you are all fimilar with that problem. So with any luck and fingers crossed we be seeing all you guys in April. We are looking forward to this gathering and seeing all of you wonderful people again.

Welcome back to the mainland, Taylor. We have enjoyed your wonderful mushroom chowder a few times this winter. Yummmm! As you probably know from the forums, your fire tub was a big hit at the last gathering, too. Say hi to Linda. We look forward to seeing her at the gathering.

Thanks All-

Donna- I will have to check with Bob & Judy to see what they are going to tow. The last I heard they were toying with the idea of towing the Big Foot this time. They are out traveling around right now but I should be hearing from then soon. I will ask them and let you know.

BTW- Welcome back Taylor.

If anyone knows of any campgrounds around Eugene please let me know. The friend we had planned on staying with earlier in the week (before we check into Waterloo) might be in the process of moving so we are going to have to find some place else to park the Burro. We are not looking for anything fancy but some place that feels safe around Eugene/Springfield.

If you want to be in the thick of things, the fairgrounds will let you stay with electric and water. I am not sure if they have a septic dump. But it is very public and not very secure.

Donna- Just talked to Bob and Judy. They will be towing the Lil Bigfoot this time.

Dale & Linda- Good thought. I will check into that. The reason why we want to come a week early is at attend an event at the fairgrounds so that might just work out. Thanks for the suggestion.

If that is the lanyard for your name tag, none of us stand a chance. You are really expecting creativity out of us. I have come up with several ideas, the hard part will be to get an idea that Dale will wear for the weekend.

Donna---- I have resisted for an hour..... but if you persist in using that as a lanyard, you are opening the door to maaannny comments... Sorry, just couldn't help it.

Lou, you two must not have been around when I was telling someone about my next trip to the NOG.

I'm leaving home on April 23rd. I'll go as far as Yreka WalMart or the one in Ashland or was it south Grants Pass. Any way, it depends on what time I leave home how far I go. It'll be on into Waterloo on Tuesday April 24.

I leave Monday April 30th. Not sure what I'm doing on the way back. Don't have to be home until Friday.

Oh by the way, they do Senior discounts at Waterloo so don't forget to ask if they don't tell you.
