Hi Everyone

It's time to think about reserving for the Lake Casitas Rally. This will be our 10th year to have the rally at Lake Casitas.

Last year we had 43 trailers ... please make your reservations early so you won't miss out on your favorite space. We usually end up with a waiting list.

Jim and I will be at Lake Casitas from October 27 (Thursday) - checking out November 1 (Tuesday).

Please post information when you reserve: names for name tags, nights you reserved, space number, pets, trailer.

Like always, they have one phone .. when you call to make your reservation, keep dialing until the message comes on and hold on ..it usually takes awhile. You can fax, but I don't recommend it..... A non-refundable reservation fee in the amount of $7.50 is charged for each reservation. However, cancellations or modifications may be made in person, through the mail or over the phone up to 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date at a charge of $5.00 per site, per reservation.

Cancellations not made prior to the 72-hour period will be subject to forfeiture of some or all camping fees, depending on the date of cancellation. Without prior cancellation the entire camping fees paid will be forfeited.

Check in time is 2:00 p.m. Check out time is 12 noon. You may be able to occupy the campsite early if it is vacant.

I will send an email out and/or post on the web sites, probably in June, with more information. The dates of the rally are again over Halloween weekend. We will have the Halloween Pet Parade.... Dress them up and join the fun.

A quick suggestion....how about putting the price for camp site on the thread. Iam thinking of how many new people we had last yr and maybe more this yr.

I phoned Lake Casitas this morning and reserved Space 50 (our usual space)for Jim and I. This will be the place for checking in and handing name tags out...

We're looking forward to seeing everyone again. This will be our 10th year anniversary for holding the Lake Casitas rally. We were only going to have a rally once - in 2002... and here it is 2011 already.. Time really does fly fast when we're having fun.

Neither Rosemary or I received our email confirmation for our reservations made on Monday. Rosemary called this morning and the confirmations were "resent" and received. If you did not get your email it will warrant another phone call.

We also received a duplicate of our reservation. When I phoned Lake Casitas, they explained that they have been backed up and finally ALL were sent. Seems like some of us received the confirmation as expected - and then received the second when they sent all out. Better More than None ...
