Hi everyone.

We continue to have great meets at Emily Provincial Park. This years event is named "Eggstravaganza" and it is at Emily again. I have updated the website.

There is information on it and a map to the park etc.
http://home.cogeco.ca/~dtaylor30/

I hope to put some more video clips on it.

If you plan to go please contact Rick, who is keeping a count.
Rick Myer rick_myer@sympatico.ca

We saw a tandem bike at last years event and went home and bought one too. Bring your bikes! They are great for touring about the park to visit other Eggstravaganzers

Hi Al, thanks for waking me up.. that's a good site, we had it last year. Have just booked the site beside it for ourselves. Remember to bring your water thief, you can fill up the trailer water tank direct from the water tower located on the corner of the site, saves a lot of lugging. The new purification system was Up and running last year, great quality. I'll be coming in on the 5th I think, will bring a few sticks of firewood.

Bonjour le Gang

We're coming again too! Having, in our senior years, learned the value of electricity we booked Hill site #93 from July 6th to 9th. We're looking forward to catching up on tall tales and raising a pint (litre?) or two.

Just registered for a campsite. Number 206 in the Circle Camp. The closest we could have gotten to the washrooms in Hillside was 4 roads over and have hydro. Looks like it's filling up pretty quick. Looking forward to another year of FINE weather and good friends.

Talking

What a wonderful idea Bolerama.

We have been owners of a 1977 Trillium since last July and would love a chance to get together with others of like thinking.

But first I have a few questions.

1.) Kids are they welcome, We have a 5yr, 4yr, and 1yr?
2.) Pets? We have a Dog (Newfoundland).
3.) Fees, and how do we go about registering?

kids! you bet
i like mine just like WC fields
lol
just kidding yes they are more then welcome ( give the adults an excuse to roast marshmellow and make somor's).
Pets are ok especially big dogs that can pull you around on your bike lol
there are 2 ways to register one uses the parks system you can reserve a site or if you want you can camp in the group area just tell them at the gate your are going to the group area.
Per Person (Age 6 - 17) 1.00 n/a .50
Per Person (Age 18 and over) 4.00 3.00 2.00
Additional Vehicle 3.00 2.25 1.50
are posted fees for group area. Campsites depend on water power ect
http://www.ontarioparks.com/English/reservations.html
Fred and ? and ? puts together a rally package for a few Clams donation lol and has set up a table outside his egg in the group area
lots of fun lots of eggs

so...if I get this correctly, for the group area, we just show up and pay at the gate, and do not need to reserve with OntarioParks reservation...right?

Once you've paid at the gate . Find a spot yourself or see Fred Taylor at his Boler and sign in with the group. You can't miss him.

That is right (no reservation) if you are planing on going to the group area.
If you need Electricity and Water or closer to washrooms you might want to make a reservation with the parks system to reserve a site. Emily runs at near capacity so it is better to book an individual site with power ect if thats what you need.

The group area has a few water spigots and washrooms about the area so it is not like your are out in the boonies lol and it is short walk to the camp store for ice and things.

oh maybe someone could post a picture of the Eggs circled around the field my emily pictures are stored away somewhere

We're booked in, Site 190 in the circle campground ,and sticking with our tradition we want hydro. Since we have onboard facilities, the hydro is a definite luxury.

Don't forget the Potluck on Saturday night.

Anyone with questions or interested check out this page on the Bolerama web site. there are even some video clips.

All of your comments make this event sound extremely interesting!. What the heck - in for a penny, in for a pound. I'm booked at Hill # 61 July 6-10. Can't wait to see what all this fuss is about. Looking forward to some fun times!
