Fred does! He provided a link to the details above.

Essentially the meet at Emily has been cancelled this year. My understanding that organizing both Emily and the "Wagon Train" to Earlton was just a little too much for one person to handle.

For those that don't have computers, they will have to hear by word of mouth, the same way they would have if a meet was going to happen at Emily.

IMO the campground (Emily) is usually not fully booked beyond long weekends. I imagine that those that normally book a regular camp site will not be booking this year freeing up sites for those that might show up looking to camp on the group site.

Yes, Fred did say last year at Emily that they would be doing both, but plans change.

I'm hoping that we will be able to meet at Emily in 2011. It was a good function every year I went.

So sorry to see that Bolerama in Emily Park, will not be gathering this year. I will be joing the group going to Earlton this year. Hope it is as much fun as Emily?

Will anyone else from this site be joining the group?

Cheers
Frances

Not sure if this is really a 'sighting', but I was using Google maps and Streetview to browse the destinations of "Wagons Ho!" and found this in the parking lot of Northgate Square mall. I think it's a 16' Scamp, anybody recognize it? You can see it from both hwy 17 and Fisher St., right inside the parking lot.

The Earlton site was a bit tricky to find, but the directions on the Earton RV site helped.

Found a huge field getting set up for a tractor pull event farther south. Rows marked off for trailers and large tents in the background.

There IS a Bolerama. It is just VERY different that what we have all become accustomed to.

This thread explains it and has a link to Fred's Bolerama website for the details.

I have been calling or writing if I didn't have a phone number, everybody that I knew that doesn't have a computer to let them know the changes. Hopefully other computer users will do the same. Otherwise they'll find out when they get there.

Fred has posted a message on the Bolerama Forum stating that he has had to stop accepting any more campers for the Wagons Ho. The registration is FULL.
Way-to-go Fred!

I thought we would have had some reports back by now. Is there no WiFi up there in Earlton?
