Unfortunately Cathy and I won’t be able to make this trip due a wedding the same weekend.
We just cancelled our reservation for site 146, hoping someone can grab it quickly !

I highly recommend a longer stay if possible as there are several things to do close by. The French Lick Hotel and Casino if your feeling lucky, also in French Lick is the Railway museum (you can take a 20 mile train ride), Big Splash Indoor Waterpark and French Lick winery. A must see while visiting is the West Baden Springs Hotel (French Lick and West Baden towns run together and are only 12 miles from the campground north on Hwy 145). The West Baden Springs hotel has been fully restored and is a wonder to behold. When it was built around the turn of the 19th century, it was known as the 8th wonder of the world. Don't miss it!
The marina at Patoka Lake has a boat tour of the lake where you can see nesting eagles and other wildlife. Come join us you won't want to miss this one!

Thanks to everyone involved in putting this event together. Debi, I and Rocco had a wonderful time, the short time we were there. Due to an unfortunate turn of events we had to pull out just before the fish fry. Being responsible is a responsibility at times!

It was great meeting Roy and his brother Tom was a hoot, a shout out to Mike and Judy and their awesome UHaul for the inside tour. We saw many great fiberglass rv`s and hopefully will have an opportunity to meet many more folks in the future.

Hi everyone,
Our first rally so we could meet some of the Casita people. We had heard they were a friendly 'family'. We found this to be true at Roy's Fish Fry this weekend. We felt quite welcome as 'newbies' to the event. We had wonderful time and made to feel like 'ole friends'. Looking forward to next get-together, and HOPEFULLY with our own Casita.

Thanks to Roy for another great fish-fry last evening and to all those who helped. And thanks Lynne for the fun campfires and snacks different evenings. As many of you know, we left earlier than planned today because of Cindy’s problems with her soon-to-be-repaired knee. We just arrived home and she is resting, glad to be away from the bumps in the truck. Thanks again and it was nice to see everyone!
