San Antonio Lake, CA

:wave San Luis Obispo county in central California is a very popular tourist destination. As such, it is hard to go camping anywhere with out tons of people everywhere. We have found that the fall is the best kept secret of California. School is in session, the tourist have gone home, the old people don't like swimming this time of year. Man it is perfect. San Antonio Lake is just inside Monterey County.

Lori and I have two married sons. Our oldest son has 4 kids. We planned a family campout last weekend at San Antonio Lake’s North Shore. On the north shore you can camp right on the beach or in the full hookup sections. There is lots of options to choose from. San Antonio Lake is about 15 miles from the Pacific Ocean but totally different weather and terrain.

Here are some photos of our last water ski trip of the year. Note, no one is wearing a wet suit. The water was too cold for me but the kids had no problem jumping right in.

Eric

Eric sold ski boats for a living (what a rough life). He would have the customer go straight down the lake as he would ski. When he got back in the boat, he would say, “Man, you're a natural”. He can ski behind anything and do tricks. He uses a wake board, does flips, jumps, backward, spin. It is fun to watch his magic.

Looks good, Michael

I wonder if Origami could pull a water skier...hmmm, maybe a ratlady. ;)

That's one good looking boat driver and some good looking passengers.
