WOW! We have 100% of the spaces spoken for. A couple of folks have yet to send their money. Check the list to see if I received you payment.

If you have not signed up and would like to come, there is additional camping in near by loops (although they do not have reservations.) There is plenty of room in the park and so you will not have a problem getting in.

If you do decide to come let me know and I will let you know if we have a cancellation. Also, I want to make sure I have plenty of food if you’re interested in the Santa Maria Style Oak Pit Bar-B-Que.

The park should be Really Green and Beautiful that time of year.

Please check the list. A few people haven’t sent in their fees.

List of who’s coming and who’s paid.

Re: Lake San Antonio Rally
Please put Ellis and Anne Hamilton on your waiting list for a spot. We enjoyed Lake Cahuilla so much and would like to see our friends again!

OK, we have you on the list. As I mentioned at Lake Cahuilla, there is plenty of camping fairly close, so plan on coming. Glad you are coming.

More payments came in. Thanks.

We have started a waiting list although there is plenty of RV sites in the next loop over and other locations at the park. Feel free to let us know you are coming and sign up for the Bar-B-Que.

I’m sure you will have no problems camping at the park.

Bumping this up. We are making a list of people who will be camping in the next camp over and joining us for the Bar-B-Que.

was rereading Mike's first entry and pinquinto beans caught my eye , so did a search and came up with www.goodeatsusa.com/TriTip.html this explains the Santa Maria BBQ, which we found very interesting, as well as a recipe for same.
hope i'm not stepping on your toes, Mike.

We just got permission to “Double Up” on sites. This will allow the people on the waiting list to be “With the Group”.

So we are interested to find out if anyone already registered would be interested in sharing their long site.

(We still have to pay the same, sorry)

I may have missed it but where exactly is this campground on the lake and how do you drive there? I don't see in Streets&Trips and Google has not been my friend today. (We're not signed up, but it may be a future adventure!)

If there is enough room, we would share, too. As long as space partners are OK with our arrival/departure schedule.

I got the Red Oak Firewood for the Bar-B-Que .
I can taste it now!

And we recall 50+ years ago bringing home gunny sacks of Santa Maria oak bark, so we could simulate what the Elks bbq cooks did up there. And, boy, did they like it rare. That's when I learned to ask for the outside cut.

And linguisa? We've never had better linguisa than they make in that area.
