WOW! We have 100% of the spaces spoken for. A couple of folks have yet to send their money. Check the list to see if I received you payment.

If you have not signed up and would like to come, there is additional camping in near by loops (although they do not have reservations.) There is plenty of room in the park and so you will not have a problem getting in.

If you do decide to come let me know and I will let you know if we have a cancellation. Also, I want to make sure I have plenty of food if you’re interested in the Santa Maria Style Oak Pit Bar-B-Que.

The park should be Really Green and Beautiful that time of year.

OK, we have you on the list. As I mentioned at Lake Cahuilla, there is plenty of camping fairly close, so plan on coming. Glad you are coming.

We have started a waiting list although there is plenty of RV sites in the next loop over and other locations at the park. Feel free to let us know you are coming and sign up for the Bar-B-Que.

I may have missed it but where exactly is this campground on the lake and how do you drive there? I don't see in Streets&Trips and Google has not been my friend today. (We're not signed up, but it may be a future adventure!)

And we recall 50+ years ago bringing home gunny sacks of Santa Maria oak bark, so we could simulate what the Elks bbq cooks did up there. And, boy, did they like it rare. That's when I learned to ask for the outside cut.

And linguisa? We've never had better linguisa than they make in that area.
