If I didn't have SO much to do this week (including writing a final exam today) and a 5 PM engagement I'd run over there- only 2 1/2 hrs away- this morning. Oh, well, next year.

Thanks for the ID's.

The shabby one on the left is Dave's and Tirah's Scamp...which will hopefully be sporting a new paint job by the Oregon rally in late summer!

We had a great time meeting all of you, and Lake San Antonio is now our favorite place to camp near home. We really enjoyed seeing all of your beautiful trailers, chatting with you all, and wow that food was absolutely delicious. Looking forward to seeing you all again at more rallies this summer!

We left this morning before 9:00 AM and arrived home in San Diego at 5:30 PM.

3 deer raced us to the entrance of the park as we left. Somehow, they just had to cross the road in front of our rig. I let them. Hmmm. Since when are SoCal drivers giving deer running advice?

I was up late (for me) entering pictures, and forgot 2...

Well, I just got home after a LONG drive! Santa Barbara was plugged up and it was crawling for a LOT of miles.

I spent the time looking for Neverland..

Once again, Mike and Lori picked a prime spot and it was well worth the drive! A lovely HUGE lake, almost totally deserted. There was an amzing qty of wildlife there, all seemed to not be bothered by us at all. Almost everytime you looked off into the distance, or stood still and checked under the trees, there would be one or more lounging deer enjoying the cool.

My site was overrun by bunnies this morning.. funny how that happens with no Beagles around

The BBQ was XLNT!!! and a good time was had by all. Thanks again M&L! Ya done good, and I will go back there someday!

I just wanted to take a moment to tell all you nice people THANKS for the trailer tours and all the information. You had answers for me before I could even ask the questions! I enjoyed meeting you all and hope to see you at a rally in the future, next time with an egg in tow!

Based on what you all had to say, I think my ideal would be a 1999-2000 17' Casita Spirit, or 2nd choice, a Liberty, with bath. I'm limited to looking in CA/OR/WA/NV/AZ and really can't go over $8000. If you come across one in your travels, I'd appreciate you letting me know about it. I really would give it a good home. Thanks again for all your help!

Thanks Mike and Lori for a fine BBQ and Rally. The view from my campsite was excellent and fun to watch all the wildlife. Those big black and white birds were Yellow Billed Magpies found only in Central California. Here's one helping himself to Willy's dog food.

Mary and I (Lance) would like to add our thanks for a really nice rally. Great food, great views, great weather, and a bunch of really great folks.

We went by Pinnacles Nat. Mon. on the way home. A lot of driving on Hwy 25; hardly any traffic and a whole new N-S route if you're bored with 101 and 5.

Hope to see another rally soon. Our next planned outing is for the Oregon gathering in July. I'm guessing we'll see some familiar folks up there!

Thanks Mike and Lori for a most outstanding BBQ and Rally. It is so much fun being with all you people. Going to new places and seeing new camps and lakes is an added bonus. Safe trip to all and see you on the flip flop. Fredrick, thanks for posting the picture of us sitting in front of the Fiber Stream, it is my screen saver for now. Ken

Just got home about an hour ago. On the way home we stopped by a friend's house in Van Nuys and visited for a few minutes.

Thanks to Mike and Lori for the wonderful rally!

Dear Mike and Lori and all Lake San Antonio Fiberglass Campers,

We had a great trip and loved our space where the pups could run, we could view the lake and had the perfect privacy and socializing times. Lori, can hardly wait for the bean recipe. And thank you everyone who helped make this just-right-sized group work.

We invite any or all of you to a few days prior to the Oregon event to stop and stay at our vineyard in Calistoga in the Napa Valley. We have space. We have no hookups. Hookups are available at the fairgrounds in Calistoga (where ther is also a golf course) and camping is available at Bothe-Napa State Park (swimming pool but no hookups). We would love to see you, reconnect and have a barbeque. We have a great bathroom with a hot shower. And a small swimming pool. While we would love to have you anytime, we came home and looked at our schedules - art and harvesting of grapes. If you can make it between the 15th and 18th of July, please let us know. We would love to see you at that time.

yea...all of the above and
one thought to Lisa M. ,we have had refrigerator problems and because ours is a 2000, the refrig. cannot be removed from the trailer. not sure when casita started the large rear windows for that reason, but we would not buy an older one because if you ever wanted a new refrig., which we have considered, we are talking major remodeling.

Gina, we were just above you, and i watched the bunnies(4) each am about 6. they chased each other about and there seemed to be one spot that had something like catnip for cats that they would roll in.

Hi all
Looks like I missed a good rally. The camp sight looks wonderful and appears everyone had a good time. Just wondering if there are any leftovers from the BBQ.
Maybe I will be ready for next years rally.
