wow this is turning out great. at last count 10 campers pretty solidly committed. and what a variety of units. i love that.. a great chance to compare different makes and models. if folks were willing it would be a good chance for others wanting a trailer to visit and see them too.

That is great John,

See how easy that was. Once you are all sitting around the campfire you can discuss where and when for next year. What worked and what did not.

We're hoping to make it over but plans may change depending on CindyL's teaching schedule in September. If she can't make it, I may just come over by myself. We've done this before when her schedule is too nuts. We would be bringing the UHaul VT. I have site #68 reserved to be proactive!

with all these folks we should do something special for a meal on saturday.

ribs? lamb? roast a goat? or a fishfry maybe? or a grilled salmon thing?
to paraphrase a once popular song,,,"i ain't afraid of no grub"

what culinary adventure are we up for? something you have never tried before?

It's easiest to say bring what you want to grill and a dish to pass. That way the most any one person has to organize is a fire or two.

Re:Food, there is a terrific farm stand just a few miles away. Take the River road a couple of miles north, left on Broadbridge, about one more mile on the left.

Sweet corn and tomatos (picked daily) will be excellent.

Bob and Grace are planning on being there with our Egg Camper. Since we're currently bumming around Pennsylvania, if you (or someone) could shoot me the phone number I'd make a reservation.

I could make a whole meal out of fresh picked tomatoes, some soft farmer cheese, and basalmic vinegar.... It will be great to finally put some names to faces, and tour the trailers!!
