That would be OK if you are capable of translating that radio lingo back into English.

In any event we are past the point of having a "dozen eggs" for scrambling. Now all we need are some onions, mushrooms, green peppers and maybe a little ham.
Considering the "roger, roger" and "Mike" radio posts maybe we already have the "Ham" covered?

Invite to Algonac
Has anyone ever gone on the master member list and sent out an invite to the members close to Algonac? Lower MIch, Ohio, Ontario ect? I would be willing to go thru and send out a little note. Any coments?

Not that I know of. Although invites have been sent out to active members that are know to live and/or camp in the area of the meet by those that are already committed to attending.

Just send a PM to those you think might be interested. Not everyone is online all the time. Work and health prevented me from logging in and checking new posts as frequently this year.

Bob & Grace will be on site #50. Kind of excited. This will be our third rally. First was in Indiana in May. Second will be the Camp Hale August rally in Colorado, and now this. Anxious to meet some Michigan fiberglassers. Got our Egg Camper in the spring of 2011 and it's already been to Montana, Idaho, Pennsylvania and states in between.

Yup. Now someone needs to come with a green egg, to go with the ham.

I have seen rallies, festivals and other "meets" advertised on Kijiji. Usually they are listed for the provinces and cities adjacent to the venue. They are listed under the 'RVs, Recreational Vehicle' header.

Oops, I just noticed an error in this list. I have a 1985 Uhaul, not a 71.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the 'big boy' 16 footer VT Uhauls! We seem to have most of the main FG campers covered in this list. It would be nice to have a Compact show up

You missed Bob & Grace in 50 with an Egg Camper. Consider yourself severely chastised.

well i am currently planning on some sort of cooking extravaganza for saturday. my plan is to buy, build, create, or somehow come up with a roasting spit large enough to cook for ,,say 30 people. then decide what to cook, turkey, chicken, goat,,, ( actually always sort of wanted to roast a whole goat,,but this might not be the place to get adventurous with food), ham?hmm maybe ribs,,, ?
then i need to test it all out before we do it in september as i would be broken hearted if i don't make you all something spectacular to eat.
i have seen a couple items i'm very interested in at a website called "spitjack" i just have to calculate the poundage that we will want to cook. i assume since it will be potluck we will have plenty of dishes to pass around from 13 trailers,, so for a main meat thing,, what do you guess? 1/2 pound per trailer? 1 pound? i'm leaning towards 1 pound per trailer finished product, so really i don't need a monster rotisery something around 15 to 30 pound capacity should do.
sort of hard to guess having not tried this before.
so any ideas or sugjestions would be welcome.
