OK, Indiana's OnLine reservation system is now booking spots for next year (through June right now) so I thought I'd see if anyone wanted to begin discussing if we wanted to get together next Spring at Spring Mill....

Two possible weekends are May 12-15 and May 19-22 (the following weekend is Memorial Day

Seems early I know but if many of you are like myself, I'll need to set my 2006 vacations days in the next few weeks.

Thoughts, Suggestions, or Rude Comments are welcome.

I'm thinking the 12th thru the 15th would be better for us. I have plans for the other weekend not to mention it is Williams birthday.

I'm in, I would prefer the middle weekend of May.

Sounds like fun. We could do it weekend before Mem. Day, but given that we usually plan our lives after the fact, it's not for sure!!! Anyway, we have family, friends, and many happy memories in Bloomington, so a spring visit always is in order. And by May, we're crazy for some better weather!!!!

We will be at McCormicks Creek for the Memorial Day weekend at site 130 (I know, crowded, busy, but it is a family event, usually with a couple or three of the grandkids) so I actually have a preference for the 12th - 15th (Saturday and Sunday being the 13th and 14th) but I wanted to see if there were any other opinions.

Looking like preferences are for the 12th - 15th...

I would guess that the 12th would be good for us as well. The 12th is Bill's birthday so maybe I could throw him an egg party while we are there.

Attached is a current Campground Map:

Last year we congregated in the area around Sites 21 - 24 and found that in heavy rain it got, shall we say, wet.

The north side of the loop 1 -14 tends to stay drier. Another alternative is the 113 - 125 loop.

Personally I liked the Class A campground except for the water at the south end. I think we should move to the north end of it. I liked the heavy woods in that area.

I agree with Karen, sites 9 thru 13 and 37 thru 40 look good. How early should we make reservations in order to secure these sites, what do you think Mike?

I think there is still plenty of time; while Memorial Day spots are already filling up, it will take a while for the off-holiday weekends to start booking out.

Since it looks like everyone is pretty settled on a weekend and location, I'll probably book a spot this upcoming week (just so I know it gets it off my check list).

Finally got around to reserving our site. We will be arriving Friday night and staying on spot #12. It appears that #9 and 10 are reserved but not mentioned here. We aren't sure if William will be joining use for his first camping trip or not.

Excellent! I count 14 trailers so far, with more time to go.
