We heard Deception Pass State Park on North Whidbey Island mentioned as a possibility, but Simon and I were talking the other day about Lake Wenatchee State Park. It's along the beautiful "Cascade Loop" and by late September thru mid-October after the kids have returned to school the park's not crowded. The lake is very picturesque and the dogs love it. You want to avoid hunting season, however, which begins around Oct 10. Lake Wenatchee's located not far from Leavenworth for those who enjoy oom pah pah music and bratworst. Check it out and throw into the mix of possibilities for the 2nd Annual WA State gathering. Greg, you did a great job in describing the complexities of organizing the Grayland gig! Hahaha.

Now we'll have to decide on what, when, and where for our next rally. As Jake and Judy said, we don't have to limit ourselves to just one event a year either...how true! So, anytime now, we can begin our discussions on the "2nd Annual WA State" get together. For those who couldn't attend, you missed a really fun time. There's no excuses now, since we are starting over again. The floor is open!

A 'posser' for the group organizers.

I'm wonderin IF it might be better to change the venue for the meet to an 'other than' State park, similar to how we do our meets up here in Igloo Country??

IMHO: this system of reservation making is MUCH easier to deal with, ...one phone call/email to the event organizer (Craig in our case) and BANG, you're in (irrespective IF you want OR don't want to be camped next to 'so n so', or the Jello Popper Lady ).

The State Park system can prove to be un-necessarily pricy for making reservations and IF you have to cancel them, as BOTH require spending money!!!!

Anyhow, thats my 'Thought' For The Day.
