16' SCAMP travel trailer - $4000 (Lucerne Valley)

I picked up 3 of these Scamp trailers--- need to sell! They are in decent condition- may need cleaning or minor repair. Not sure what year- no paperwork. I am guessing late 1980's. You would have to get your own title, which I hear is pretty easy to do. They are legally mine- I purchased (and have the paperwork to prove) from Military surplus.

Here is a good opportunity to own one of these for the best price on the planet! First come, first serve-- will get the pick of the litter although all 3 are about the same condition.

No bathroom in these. Scamp calls them 16'ers, but that is overall length- box measures 13'. Weigh only 1750lbs. Most any vehicle can tow them. Bunks in the front not shown in the pics.

Call me at 760 964 5123 Mark

Thanks for looking!

Now we know what happened to some of the auction Scamps!

I think he would find them easier to sell if he took care of the title problem, though.

We all saw the auctions at Camp Pendelton. Wanna TRIPLE your money?

The last auction that I logged, which was a month ago, was for two Scamps. They went for nearly $2,000 each -- so it isn't exactly tripling your money.

It would be nice to know if the seller replaced the missing spare tire and wheel -- I see the propane tank has NOT been replaced.

I haven't heard from anyone how much the Scamps went for at the most recent auction -- do you know?

All of those were posted through the California Government Auction - looks like he snagged up 3 of them and re-selling them.... still a decent price? I'm not sure what the end auction price was?

I saw these at the auction - they are pretty trashed. For $2000 they are a good deal for a handyman - for $4000 I suspect one could do a bit better.

In on of the above links he says he will let them go at 3000. and that "Michelle has them cleaned up pretty good now".

The missing bathroom would be a no go for me. Makes it not much different than a 13 fter IMO. Same small bed and in my case no front dinette.
