Ridgecrest is between the desert and the Sierra Nevada mountains, off US 395 in an old mining area.

Glad you knew Ami, I can only post them as I find them. I wish more sellers were a little more forthcoming with their info. A lot of times they don't even put the year in the ad. Sometimes I think? Are you kidding?

The ones I love are the ones that are asking a fortune for their " egg" cause it's special! yet they don't put a pic in the ad. Or even better they have lots of upgrades on a 30 year old egg but they think its worth more than a new one. Amazing! Lot of times I don't even post some of the ones I think are out of the ball park price wise! Figure let them sweat when no one calls to inquire about the way over priced rig.

I like the ones where there are little problems that "five minutes of elbow grease" would fix and then the trailer would be worth... $6000! "But I'm pricing it at only $4000!"

This means it's worth about $2500, the repairs would take weeks and cost thousands, and that they think we're silly enough to believe that they wouldn't take five minutes and a bottle of 409 to make an extra $2000.

Don't you always secretly hope they don't sell then? The trouble is that you as a potential buyer cannot tell them this even though you KNOW it's true, and when they lower the price later you probably won't be the one there to buy it.

Boats are so the same way!

I can't believe this hasn't sold yet. For the money, I think it's a steal even with issues, it can be fixed up sweet!

I tried emailing the guy, and it came back as bad address or something. Its a shame, for the right rig I'd be willing to drive to Ridgecrest...hehe

Maybe you should try ridgecrest.com! When I first saw the add I had no idea where it was. Just drive on the first ridge you can find until you come to the crest in the road (:

I probably paid too much for my 13" scamp but it was so hard to either respond to adds in time before it sold or the trailer/owner was just too far away... This site is certainly one of the best to look for your eggvestment tho. And a much better investment than a 401k which has spit in two like stocks do and is now more like a 201k. At least eggs don't split

ami, your description is wonderful if you know what STATE in the usa has those particular mountains. a little like where i live everyone knows what "inside the beltway" means but someone from another part of the country has no idea.

"Inland Empire" refers to Riverside and San Bernadino counties in Southern California.

I'm guessing that this has sold since the Craigslist ad "has been removed by it's author."
