Up for sale is one 1971 Compact Jr. pop top fiberglass trailer. A pre-cursor to Scamps & Casitas, it is very towable at only 1000 lbs, and could be handled by a 4 cylinder vehicle. The camper sleeps two comfortably in a queen sized bed which folds up to make a dinette. The unit has an ice box, sink, two burner stove top, electrical hook up, cabinets for food and camping supplies, a closet and a top that lifts up to accomodate a 6'5" person. The top folds down during travel to reduce the wind resistance. This camper has new paint, tires and canvas and the floor has been reinforced for additional strength. The water storage tank was removed during restoration but could be replaced easily in the space below the seating. It is plumbed to the sink and drain. These units are hard to find and valued for their economy of travel. Delivery could be arranged in the eastern US at $.50/mile.
