1974 13' Hunter Compact II fiberglass, restored

MFG by Hunter Industries of California, this 1974 Compact II camper with pop-up roof is very unique and rare. Much sought after by vintage camper enthusiasts and folks looking for mileage saving lightweight campers.. It was discovered in Arizona desert, so no rust or mold! It was restored in Tennessee and I purchased it and brought it to Dothan, Alabama.

This is perfect for a single traveler or a young couple.

Measurements: It uses a 2" ball;
exterior height with roof down is 80 ";
interior height with roof down 64"; roof up 6'3";
pop-up roof is mostly over area you would walk 5'4"L x 28"W.
Actual camper hitch ball to rear bumper length is 13' and it is 6'5"W;
Inside living area of camper is 10' end to end.
Weighing just over 800 lbs it is a dream to pull.

Features:
New 14 inch tires and new wheel bearings...includes spare tire
Solid floor...NO LEAKS ..now or ever...new vinyl tile on floor

All wiring updated...fuses installed..has new coach battery w/ automatic charger installed..all 12 volt lights and water pump work/ 12 gal tank

Frame is solid...has some very light surface rust

A slightly used 8000BTU a/c unit was installed INSIDE!! it's mounted securely behind the grid in the picture and works with a remote! (This is where the refrigerator was originally located.)

As with most vintage campers, no refrigerator--use a cooler with ice.

Stainless sink and a 3 burner propane stove. It heats with a ceramic heater (included).

All 110 wiring in good shape, has GFI and breaker box..just plug in at the campground with your extension cord , and you've got air conditioning and several 110 plugs for TV, radio etc. There is a city water connection. Comes with an new porta-potty.

Cabinets have been repainted. There are 2 closets, and lots of drawers and storage.

All new cushions and curtains. Side windows slide open and have new screens; all window gaskets replaced and again NO LEAKS. There is a sliding glass in the rear door with screen.

The bed is quite large for a camper this size...5' wide and 6'2" long--almost a full queen size...lots of comfort and close to the a/c.

This unit has about six small places in the quilted headliner that have been patched. There is one small dent in exterior fiberglass. It is not thru and doesn't leak.

Pretty yellow color has been sealed with amazing product called Poliglow--this baby looks new, and no waxing for a year!!!

Asking $4600 OBO. Unit is located in my carport in Dothan, Alabama. I am willing to tow it three hours from here to deliver for an extra fee. For more info, or questions, call Chela at 859-338-9437 or email chelak@aol.com.

Hi. Some of these had a shower stall inside. Does this one? How do you charge the battery? Thanks.

There is no shower. There is a large closet and a porta-potty. The new battery is attached to a charger which charges the battery whenever the trailer is plugged in to electricity.
