Selling my 1979
Fiberstream.
Restored 2002-2004. Took to the desert once or twice a year for 7 years. Has been sitting in storage since 2010.
Trailer completely gutted. Every single piece of wood replaced using the original panels as templates.
Rosewood paneling, cabinetry, ceiling. Brushed aluminum trim. Mahogany floor.
Exterior needs a good polishing. Water heater cover needs replaced. A few other minor repairs required. (a hinge here, a bulb there, the original
fiberglass bumper needs restoration and to be reinstalled. the
propane tanks are old style connectors - i can still get them filled locally, so never upgraded.)
Modifications: Dropped the shower pan floor 3 inches so i could stand comfortably. I am 6 feet tall. Handcrafted custom "S" shaped bathroom door. Added Rosewood paneling to walls and ceiling in addition to rebuilding all the cabinetry with it. Added curved storage area in walkway to allow more storage for food. All
windows removed, and rubber seals replaced with new. All appliances are original and in working order. Expanded the archway next to the stove another 2 inches to allow better visibility.
50 Watt Seimens
Solar Pannel mounted on roof. Trace C-40 charge controller.
Trailer is stored near Pismo Beach in Arroyo Grande, CA.
