1979 Trillium 4500

1979 Trillium 4500 Front Bunk Model Vancouver Island, BC

After 10 years of great camping experiences, we have adopted an Escape and are selling our 1979 Trillium 4500 trailer. This is the front bunk model with sliding upper cabinets, counter extension options and optional kitchen window. Trailer frame has the recommended reinforcement plates at the front frame bend. Just waxed and the gelcoat looks great for the age of the trailer. Stored undercover since we purchased it. Pulls well with a Subaru 2.5l and amazingly with a Rav4 V6.

Overall, the trailer is in extremely functional and is excellent shape for a 42 year trailer. Our plan this year was to reseal the windows and do the belly band replacement, however, we are too busy camping to get this done; roll of butyl tape for window sealing included.

Booker, Very nice 4500! It almost looks brand new!
Other than the fridge, which is an RM360, the rest of your 4500 looks like a 1978. Not that it changes the value at all.
The things that make me suspect that it is a 1978 vs. 1979:
- The kitchen drawers line up.
- The converter is a Progressive Dynamics
- The gaucho is not an, "almost dinette"

Also, I would have called it a Deluxe, but there is no window in the door. Otherwise it appears to have every other Deluxe option.

Would it be possible to post a picture of the data sheet on the inside of the closet door?

You are on the 1300 list. I think your avatar is a 1300 as well.

All about the Trilliums

It might be a 1978, just going by the registration papers that were provided when we purchased it and I agree the lack of window door always seemed kind of odd. Unfortunately the specs on the inner door were not there when we purchased it.

This is my 3rd trillium, I had a 1972 and a 1976 prior to this one. I had to buy this trailer as it was in such great shape. Plus (personally) I think the Trillium 4500 is the best non-bathroom family FGRV there is - super functional with great beds ands storage.
