I recently purchased a 1984 13'
U-Haul. Excellent condition. Since I bought it I've decided that I just can't afford it; also I'm moving and am anxious to sell. So, I've drastically reduced my selling price to $2800. My only use has been to tow it from Roanoke, VA to Asheville, VA (about 200 miles) & it towed beautifully - could barely feel it behind me & I never towed anything before with my Honda Odyssey minivan.
It has: Two burner
propane stove, icebox,
propane tank mounted to the tongue, ink with electric and hand faucet, 12 gallon drinking water tank, furnace/heater with thermostat, storage under couch (2) and under table seats (2), closet. curtains throughout, All
windows and door resealed, New welded trailer frame. Power converter. New carpet, New safety chains, New
tires plus spare. Ceiling resealed and painted inside, 2,000 pound
axle, trailer weighs less than 1,000 pounds, Professionally automotive repainted (almond), Additional
lights have been added to the interior. (All new stuff added by guy I bought it from).
No a/c, no porta potti, no shower.
The only thing that needs to be fixed is that the previous owner, who was a hunter, had the
windows sealed so that they can't be opened (except for the roof vent, which does open). So those
windows would have to be unsealed.
Thanks for looking.
