We bought this camper in 2004 and have enjoyed it very much! It is pretty much original inside and out, except for new flooring. This camper tows great, we pull it with a Nissan Frontier using a Curt Spyder goose neck 2 5/16" ball hitch. The original
Scamp configuration had a 2' coupler, we converted it to 2 5/16 adjustable height coupler, very versatile. We can sell the Spyder too, or you can do you own thing regarding the hitch, just keep in mind the coupler is not the
Scamp standard.
This camper is awesome, but has started to show it's age. It could really use a good cleaning and or
paint job. It also needs new roof vents. The toilet is a little leaky, and the water inlet just started acting up. We can fix those 2 things or leave it as is. The range top and hood are rusting but work just fine. The
furnace, hot water heater and water pump all work too, the water heater was new in 2004.
