You are correct on the weight of yours. OUr 1995 17 ft. CB Bigfoot weighed more like 2985 pounds empty and we have owned 5 other Bigfoots. You can not go by the build label which indicted the weight before most of the items ( like appliances, A/C, etc.) were added. We were told this information from the original owners mouth in Canada several years ago before Bigfoot folded. That is NOT your tow weight on the build tag. Most people don't understand that and under estimate what type of tow vehicle they should have. We had a Bigfoot 5th wheel and the build label on it was about 2900 pounds, when it was weighed by calibrated truck scales it weighed in at 5,000 pounds. I've heard of others that weighed more than ours empty. We have owned 6 Bigfoots total and none of them have weighed what it said on the build tag.

2500 pounds is what the build label says. Although it may not be accurate... there is no way that my trailer weighs in anywhere near 5000 because my tacoma pulls it easily with no problems. Pulling a B19 should be no problem with a tow vehicle that has a 5000 lb capacity or greater, which should include most SUV's and mid size pickups.

If I had to take a WAG at it, I'd say it is likely somewhere between 3500 and 4,000 POUNDS. However, that is just a WAG!
