Hope I find something like this next year when I start looking. I can't retire for another year and my husband says he doesn't want one sitting around for a year.

Now is the time to buy, it will take you a year to "customize it" and make it yours.

I am interested......

Joined this site to send you a note. It has taken me all morning. I am a newby but still very interested in your Scamp. I have never pulled a trailer before and live near Nashville. Don't suppose you have a trip planned this way?
Perhaps we should talk.
Regards,
Pamela

Hello Pamela,
Thank you for signing up and contacting me. My wife and I are big fans of Tennessee. We were married 19 yrs ago in Gatlinburg. We don't have any plans on going to Tennessee in the near future, as we are both working fulltime, and don't have the time right now. If you would like to talk, that would be just fine. I have Wednesday and Thursday off this week, and am available to talk anytime after 9:00AM. If you would like, you can call me on my cell at (407) 592-5957. Thank you for your interest in our Scamp, and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Mark

That is a very nice rig. At a good price. Really like the bath on the side so you still have a front window. If I did not have in-laws in Fla. I would be tempted to come down

Pamela all you really need to worry about is will my vehical tow it and does it have the features I want/need. Weight is the factor going into can you tow it but these are very light trailers for the size. Owner gave the weight or check out this link http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f51/trailer-weights-in-the-real-world-43010.html which provides weights collected at campground so it reflects what people actually carry in addition to the trailer weight.

Your car owners manual or the dealer can tell you how much you can tow.

There is a check list in the documents center that could prove of use.
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/downloads//ec_tmp/BuyersChecklist.pdf

I notice this trailer has brakes (a good feature) you may need to add brake controller to your vehical at a modest expense to take advantage of those brakes, something to price out and plan for.

You may need an adapter if you have a plug for trailer lights that does not match the trailer. Or to have the matching plug installed on your tow vehical, a very minor cost, ask the seller what kind of plug trailer has and plan accordingly.

Typically an rv trailer plug has a wire and connection for the electric brakes so these two items are related.

Clicking on the persons user name next to the post will allow you to send a private message or PM this is generally the best way to provide phone, email or addresses. Otherwise "bots" that troll the web looking for that type of info can read it off of the page, page is public.

Pamela,
Sounds good, Pamela. Give me a call when/if you have any questions about my Scamp. By the way, our Scamp has the attachments required for electric brakes and towing. We have a 2006 Buick Rondezvous front wheel drive, and tows it with no problems.
Thanks again, and let me know if I can be of any help.
Mark

Close Up Photos

You have taken lovely photos of the Scamp. Would you possibly have any photos that show better detail? I am not worried about the weight.... My car will pull it just fine.
Regards,
Pamela

No need. I was able to enlarge the photos just fine this time around.

Close-up Photos

Is it possible for you to send the photos you have already taken directly to my email? Perhaps I will be able to enlarge them on my side. I can not enlarge the photos on the RV site enough to see them very well......

Pamela
