1987 Bigfoot Silvercloud Project

THE Holygrail of fiberglass trailers... 28'... bought a few months ago... too many other projects & this should go to someone who can properly restore/rebuild... Severe water damage, good project for woodworker/cabinetshop guy...Excellent body, glass & systems...good tires & brakes, towed from BC... i can deliver... email for pics & phone # $5K NEGOTIABLE as i would like to see it go to right person pete

I have considered having a look at that one. it is very nice, although it too has some(very minor) water damage...I'd still find myself tearing some panels out. If mine even looked 1/4 that good it would not be up for sale!

the cloud is still here in utah. i have just purchased another avion (silver bullets were my first love). i will be picking it up in the seattle area in the next week or so... the cloud - $3000 delivered to seattle area email for pics & phone #

Someone tell me how it got severe water damage? The whole idea behind glass camera is to keep the water out.

water damage

windows left open? snowload on roof/cracked open roof vents...i've seen roof vents left open a crack for "ventlation" think of wet snow on roof like a wet sponge...moisture got in...probably sat for several years "closed up" & it "sweat" during the humid warm summer months... that's my best guess...
