$11,000 seems high for a used unit. What does it have on it?

This same trailer would sell for approximately $14,000 new so, no it isn't high for a Scamp which has been used 10 times and is like NEW...it has everything Scamp puts on it's trailer except the furnace.

I agree. That's a good price for a unit that recent with a lot of options.

It seems kind of high priced to me. Then again, I'm the guy that couldn't find a used unit at a price I felt was fair, so I bought new!

Where exactly is this trailer located?

To me the furnace is a must. I have bought 3 if they didn't have a furnace I installed one.

And on the flip side, I've had my trailer for four years and have never used the furnace...thinking about pulling it out all together. Cube heater works fine, if needed and I don't boondock in the winter.

Options fall into the "different strokes for different folks" catagory.

My wife and I boondock in the winter. We'd have frozen our butts off if we hadn't had our furnace.

Bob, could you post some pictures??? That should help things.

Aside on prices:
I find it very interesting when people criticize somebody else's asking price. For that matter, I find it equally interesting when folks quote what they paid for it at you. Neither is very relevant. *Nothing* (except maybe food and clothing) has any inherant (universally agreed-to) value. It's just a matter of a temporal agreement between an individual seller and an individual buyer at one time and one place. Nobody selling artwork or antiques worries about what the seller paid for it. Maybe you got a great deal! Maybe you got hosed! None of it matters. Grumbling about an asking price doesn't make sense either. If it's more than you want to pay - don't. There's legitimate haggling of course, but simply running down a price doesn't seem to accomplish much. Hopefully no-one in this thread takes the above personally. There's been many similar exchanges and my remark is meant more to be a reply to them all.
