2005 13 ft. Scamp (bunk bed model) for sale. Single owner, great condition. $7900

We purchased this 2005 13 ft. Scamp w/ the front bunk beds right from the factory! It has several "extras": furnace, screen door, outside light, and gravel guard for front window.

We have absolutely loved this trailer and even attended an "Egg Rally" a few years ago in SE MN. However, our kids are getting older (and taller) and it's hard to fit all 4 of us inside, at least when not sleeping, so we're ready to upgrade.

The Scamp has been stored inside during the winters and is in fantastic shape. We have the blue cushion upholstery w/ cream curtains. We'll include a PVC "guard rail" my husband made for the top bunk to keep kids from rolling off--it slips over the posts and easily off again when you want to convert to the sofa. Also willing to include a two-wheel tow dolley that makes it easy to manuever the Scamp into a garage, reposition on the driveway, etc.

Located in SE MN--asking $7900 (firm). Please email weber362(at)gmail(dot)com or private message here w/ questions. I'm happy to send photos.

Yes, this would be "layout 1".

the bunk beds convert to a sofa. My husband created a PVC pipe "guard rail" for the top bunk, which fits onto the pipes that hold up the bunk and easily lifts off when you want to make the sofa. Keeps kids (or adults) from rolling off the top bunk!

Yes, we have the furnace. No A/C or roof fan.

We've just used a small fan or two inside the trailer to keep air flowing through when it's hot--honestly, we've used the furnace much more often here in MN.

I live in Austin and have placed $500 down on a new Scamp 13' in Backus. If you still have this trailer for sale, I'd like to drive over and take a look; it looks like just the trailer I'm looking for from the pictures.

I plan to pick up my new trailer in March if I don't purchase a used one.

We still have it, but are close to a sale.

Hi Robert--we in the process of finalizing sale details w/a buyer who lives in Alaska (thus the delay while logistics are worked out). We should know w/in the next several days if all is going forward, and the plan is make the sale in mid-Feb. So, I'm happy to let you know if this sale falls through.

We've really loved this camper--you will love your new Scamp (whether ours or direct from Backus)!

Thanks,
Kendra

Would you please post here when the sale is final? That way a moderator can transfer this thread to the archive so that others know the trailer is sold.

I appreciate your response. I'll plan on taking delivery on my new Scamp in April. I've talked to two people at the Scamp factory in Backus; both have been very helpful. I'm anxious to go up there, meet them, see the factory, and get my new 13' Scamp.
Good luck with your sale.

SOLD! Thank you for the inquiries.

This camper has been sold, at our asking price of $7900.

We will miss it--but are confident the new owner will take great care of it and continue to have many adventures!

Someday when it is just dear hubby & I, I hope to own an egg again!

Thanks,
Kendra
