Please note that George`s trailer is a 21 footer, not a 25 footer

That model number 25B21RB translates as

Series 25B - Which means winterized package with heated tanks and double glazed windows, plus extra insulation in the walls

21 footer

RB - Rear Bedroom

The 25 foot ones would be a 25B25 (and either FB - front bed, or RB - rear bed)

Dear Mansour,
The trailer has been sold and delivered, sorry. All along we were letting you know that our planned long trip put time pressure on selling the trailer. Unfortunately, there were too many questions in your transaction:

1.Our original agreement was that you would wire funds to our account or come to Portland and deliver funds in person – did not happen.

2.We were contacted several times by a person from WorldWide and their inaptitude raised serious doubts about reality of this transaction.

a.Person involved with logistics and shipping, did not know if Portland has a port and did not know were Oregon is. We were told that the transfer of funds would be by a company check. She asked us how we would like to take care of the transfer. It was not our responsibility to make arrangements to ship the trailer to Texas nor Saudi Arabia. These arrangements should have been made without our involvement.

b.During the last phone call the person asked us to deliver the trailer to the closest RV dealer and we would be paid by them. When we asked which one, the answer was the closest. WorldWide is likely a very legitimate business, but in our case it truly felt like a scam. We called the deal off.

There are Bigfoots advertised in this forum, but I would suggest to:

1.Sign the sale agreement and transfer funds in person to seller’s satisfaction.
2.Hire a vehicle moving company to move the trailer to Texas.
3.Hire WW to ship it overseas.

We are sorry that this transaction did not happen, wishing you the best of luck.

George.

Sorry but this reeks of a scam. Had a similar e-mail a couple years ago when I was selling a car on craigslist. Buyer is always "serious" but has all sorts of drama that complicates the transaction, never pays they way the seller requests, and always ignores specific requests for information of transaction details. WTF does "...my bother now visiting his kids who are attending school in san diego" have to do with buying a TT? Not to mention, I wouldn't take a company check from my neighbor, let alone someone I don't even know. Sounds like a classic Nigerian scam to me. Glad you found a local buyer. Other egg sellers beware!

I just talked to Mansour and would not be so quick to jumping to a scam conclusion. It seems that insufficient communication with WorldWide, which did not take urgency seriously, is likely an issue. WorldWide is ready to pick-up the trailer and pay in the bank, but it is too late.
