When someone said they may take pictures of inside to put up rather than allow people to look inside it gave me an idea.

At conferences they sometimes have what are called "Poster Sessions" where a single poster board is used to present a subject and people go from poster to poster to find subjects of interest.

My idea was maybe put together a list printed large of modifications or equipment or features of your camper that you can put out. Even tape a couple of pages to a tow vehicle window. Or piece of poster board. Just to start a conversation with folks who are walking around and are interested in the things your camper offers.

Even features or print off of floor plan will probably be of interest to some folks. I don't believe many would think a 13 foot camper would have a bathroom for instance. Or for those thinking of a change the floor plans might be of interest.

Mods of course are of interest, as is gear for small camper living. I know it is due to seeing Clam screen tents come through wind a few years back that convinced me that is the screen tent I would want. The flooring I used was based on someone at the rally having used this flooring for their camper.

I guess I was thinking if one has a computer to print a couple of pictures and/or a bit of list it might help people do a socially responsible meet and greet walk around to check out the campers.

Sorry to see the cancellations but I totally understand. I hope you are all still camping somewhere, closer to home and having a great time. Stay safe
I'll be updating the map tomorrow.
We'll see you next year

Unfortunately Ann can’t come due to her compromised immune system so I’m bringing my son.

Darn Bob. I'm glad that Ann is staying safe but we'll miss her. Please give her my best. I forgot your son's name. Let me know and I'll add to the list.

Newest map is uploaded! I will have maps available at my campsite.
Apologies if there are mistakes or omissions, these past few weeks have been stressful in my world because my position at work was eliminated and I'm in the process of deciding if I will be choosing to retire or ,,,, retire. (whaaaat?)
Its a weird feeling
I'll be at the campground tomorrow! Site 218

Pam. Take my advice and retire. My advice to everyone is retire as early as you can make the finances work. I was just weeks shy of age 54 and that was June 1990.

I thought I would miss my job when I retired in May. Not an iota. I don't even think about it except to express relief that I don't have to deal with schools during the virus.

Now that we don’t have to rush back to commitments, we are taking our time coming to Algonac. We are leaving today and staying at Camp Turkeyville RV Park north of Marshall, MI. Arriving at Algonac Thursday afternoon, site 74. Yippee!

Arriving Tomorrow

Travel plans were up in the air and I never responded to this thread and am not on the map, but we have site 115 booked Thursday through Sunday. Looking forward to meeting other Scampers.

Pam, I agree. I retired close to 2 years ago and have no trouble filling my days - though that is a bit more difficult this year than in the past. Just think, you'll be able to travel more.

I miss the rally already, hoping for a better 2021.

Sara and I pulled out a day early. Sorry we didn’t say our goodbyes.
Our little traveler Tanner passed away today.
It’s going too seem strange for awhile. Until next year.
Everyone be safe!

My son and I enjoyed the weekend. Sorry we couldn’t have trailer open house and potluck but it was a good weekend anyway. Hope for both next year. Thanks to Pam as always.

So sorry for you both

We need more campfire time and less stress in our everyday life

Stay safe and we hope to see you both in the future
