Post update-----
So I went and looked at the
fridge, and it didn't look that hard to take out, especially since I recruited my husband to do it. :-) It only took about 20 min, and it's out and sitting on the driveway. So if you want it, it's there and free for the taking. If nobody here takes it, it's going on Freecycle, and if they don't want it, it's going to the dump. Any takers?

So I have this - ahem- well-used '86
casita. It has a Dometic
fridge built in. The screws that hold it in have all come loose, and the more we think about it, the more we think it just needs to go - it's too complicated to run, too heavy, and we'd really rather just replace it with a cooler.
Propane makes me twichy, anyway.
History: I bought the trailer last year from a guy who'd had it five years and never did anything with the trailer, and didn't know whether anything worked on it. I've never fired up the
fridge, either. I had a mechanic go over the whole trailer last year, and he claimed the fridge worked, but I've never confirmed that.
So - any of you do-it-yourselfers or machine geeks want this thing? I don't know what it's worth, or whether it's worth anything, so I'm open to all sorts of offers - money, donation to a worthy cause, barter, or "Hey lady, I'm doing you a favor taking it off your hands."
The catch? You, lucky person, get to come to the trailer and take it out yourself. I'd prefer someone to come here, but we occasionally make it to OK and MO, so that might be arranged if we have no local bites.
So lemme know!
