I saw that the auction said the L-400 was for a Scamp, Trillium, etc.

Does the Trillium use the L-400? I guess I had in mind that it was only the older Bolers that used those (of our eggs), and that the Trillium used a different one Or is that only the U-haul that uses the L-300, and I'm mixed up?

I believe the L400 is the long, narrow lockset and is nearly impossible to find anymore. So a repair kit would be a desired item. I also believe newer trailers now use the L300... or similar which is more square. So if one needs to change from an L400 to something else, there's fiberglass patching that needs to be done to fill in the "gap."

Yes, it is the long narrow one that was on mid-70s and later Boler 13's (that I know of). I had just thought that the Trillium used a different sized one (maybe the L-300 or another more square and less rectangular one), so I was asking about that (because the auction said Scamp and Trillium). I wasn't aware of the L-400 being used on either a Scamp or a Trillium, and so I got curious (as I am wont to do )

Yes This re-build kit is for the long Bargman L400 lock. I have seen these on different 70s trailers especially the trillium.

Bargman locks are junk.

I wasted $70 or something on a repair kit,$50 install then broke it testing the strength. Ditch the idea.

Hi Elie, I'm looking for some L400 pieces. Maybe able to help recoup some of your losses if you're interested. I guess I'm not willing to give up just yet!
